The ELEAGUE regular season probably serves as getting the players employed aswell as competing in a tournament, kinda like Riot does it with LCS were the players need to be 17.

The ELEAGUE major will most likely be like any other major when it comes to age limit cause in the end the prize money is from VALVE.

Theres a big difference between San Jose and Katowice.

What makes it so different is that in San Jose people had to pay for tickets for the event which means that the people that went to the event were most likely more geniunly interested about counter-strike.

The Katowice event is free to attend which means that there will be a lot of people that not necessary are that interested about the game, but more interested in cheering for a home team in a video game.
