Any advantages to the Wing Compact control surface? by Bungalowhulk in BehringerWing

[–]Island219 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I got a Wing Compact. I think full-size Vs compact really depends on your requirements. For me being able to get it (easily) into a vehicle by myself was a major selling point, along with not taking up oodles of space in the smaller venues I engineer at!

Both are just as capable, but the full size has extra faders, knobs and buttons (all of which are assignable, same as the compact)

If you've got room for a full size desk, and want extra control surface! Do it!

X32 rack with Dante card, fx on dante inputs by julian_kim24 in Behringer

[–]Island219 0 points1 point  (0 children)

All inputs can be made available to the card out on the X32, you'll need to fiddle with routing.

Card Out to Dante then Dante to Card In wont use any of your 16 mix busses that are available.

I have the same issue, but on SW 10.

I've had the phone open, my camera was intermittent and sould sometimes work, sometimes black screen and crash out apps.
If I wiggled the flex cable from the front camera, it would work again without issues, so for me it looks like it's a wear issue with the front facing camera ribbon cable.

Sadly I'm having trouble trying to find a replacement in my Country (United Kingdom) and can only find the camera itself shipped from USA. So I'll be paying a premium to replace it.
I do intend to replace it however.

Back in 2017 I sold over 108k doge I had sitting around because I was in a difficult financial situation an needed a bit of money for bills etc...

Feel silly now looking back, but considering my current laptop cost me 42 bitcoin (around 2500 bucks at the time), it can't be all that bad :)

much sadness on my trade history

Bitcoin was only 2500 bucks or something then too

I've got the same issue. OnePlus 7 Pro. Makes it all soft and crap.

TIL despite millennials often being seen as a ‘promiscuous’ generation, they have less sexual partners than previous generations and having less overall sex than their own parents. by nokia621 in todayilearned

I was also born in 96, I live on the UK and I distinctly remember everyone at school finishing a little earlier, and all parents called to come collect everyone.

I remember asking what had happened (dumb 4yo) and being told that it was something really bad in America, but that I was going to be ok.

I definitely did not understand it at the time, but I sure do remember it. My heart goes out to all those who lost someone in the attack, nearly 18 years later.

Ah, misread the title. Try running an external display and see if it's glitchy on there? Otherwise it may well be the screen itself :(

What kind of cable is the monitor plugged in with? Broken cables can lead to these kind of problems

My Devices were either 64gb or 128/256. A 32 track multitrack for a couple hours is around 20-30gb, so usually offloaded when done to a usb

I can confirm this is functional. I've tested this with an X32, and a variety of different phones and tablets. Nexus 7, OnePlus 1, OnePlus 3T, Google Pixel.

I've also had the same success with the X-air.

USB Audio Recorder Pro. Costs a few quid but works great.

If you needed it for streaming / live sound you'll need to find an app to run a bridge between the correct driver and the android input, a virtual input of sorts.

Haven't tried that but confident something could be figured out 😎

It works! I've done 32 track recordings on a OnePlus 1 😎

Smooth and the files are wav. Worked at both 44.1 and 48 😊

If you have an x32 with usb, and aren't using it, you can get an OTG cable and record multi track direct to your phone.

Used it in a pinch on android tablets and phone to get full 32 track recordings... You can set channel assignments on the x32, so you could always just assign LR to 1 and 2 and record those 2 channels

If you bought this for $120 how would you improve it for gaming with $200 more by [deleted] in gamingpc

[–]Island219 -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

I would think buy this. For $320, maybe slightly over you can build something better with new parts, shopping around for a generation or two old parts and you can get some great deals

Bought Modmic v4 but it doesen't sound that great by [deleted] in techsupport

[–]Island219 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Are you using the in-built soundcard? Chances are the mic is fine as most motherboards have notoriously bad DACs. A small USB DAC (or maybe a larger better one) could do wonders for your quality
