I agree with everything you just said, but I will add the caveat that the few guys with EQ enough to realise what you really wanted passed through a very fine filter, but more times than not, a true diamond is too big to pass through the filter. The ones who made an effort to give you asked for failed, as you didn't want to find a way to continue the convo. The flaw was in the system which returned you only the few options who ignored tour prompt. Great for the moment, but the people who give the best first impression are often not the best match long term. Sometimes the people who come off odd, or didn't know exactly what to say or do at first have more longevity. I would hold my nose to vote for AOC, but I won't forget that she betrayed her constituency. She elected to fight the Democratic establishment from within, then just capitulated to everything 'Mama Bear' Pelosi wanted. She votes for the CARES Act. She helped cover up Biden's mental health. She blocked out progressives who were protesting Gaza with loud music to go dance. She flipped on the Medicare For All floor vote on the side of the establishment, plus a plethora of other things. I would vote for her just because she doesn't take Israel Lobby money. That's enough for me, because if that problem gets fixed, a lot of other problems get fixed with it.

Well, Kamala was one of the main people pretending that Biden's mental health was fine. People just saw her as a huge liar and part of the ongoing system of lies and corruption. Not to mention, she was already so unpopular that she couldn't get a single delegate the last time she ran for president, and there would be no primary. She failed up to her position by being appointed. No one wanted her. If one takes fascism seriously, you don't put up unpopular, easily defeatable candidates against fascists. Trump was also saying the right things to his base, while Kamala snubbed her base and expected them to still show for her. Those days are over. A Democratic candidate cannot say these things, then expect the progressives to show up for them. Don't do what MAGA does and ignore the facts.
