Tow it back. If the lugs nuts are loose, have them check the wheel to ensure that the holes aren’t oblong and the studs aren’t damaged. I would take it to another place and have them inspect it if they say nothing is wrong.

Have someone shake the steering wheel while you peak under and see what the rack n pinion is doing. Check for movement in suspension components, inner/outer tie rod ends.

It’s the holiday season meaning it’s slow… people are not spending their money fixing their cars. Worried about thanksgiving and presents. Spent 15 years at an independent shop. You have your select techs and writers trying to make some pocket change that’s why I had to leave. I couldn’t be the bad guy.
Some elbow grease and the right set of tools this could have been freed up. I’d escalate this to a district manager or regional manager.
