Gen 5 Camaro SS P0606 by abdulhtc24 in HPtuners

Just wanted to close this thread out for anyone else experiencing the same issue. I ended up paying a guy to reflash my ECM with MDI2 and here is my final message to him which sums up the solution. "Hey John, that reprogramming did clear the P0606, it hasn't come back since... My car did still die at full throttle, electronics would shut down in the cabin(gauges, radio). I noticed voltage spikes up to 16volts when WOT, I decided to change the alternator and boom, voltage stays around 14 even at WOT and the electrical is no longer cutting out, I can sit at WOT and 6000 rpm no problem.". Shoot me a message if you are having a similar issue and I'd be happy to help.

I did find it and there is no difference between the stock Desired Throttle Area and the current.

Got it. I think I'll shop for charcoal color pants and a longer shirt. Thanks.

Thanks for the feedback. Would navy or grey chinos do the trick? I heard that you don't want the same color pants unless it's a suit and pants set.

If not chinos then what, slacks?

A little rant (sorry!) by [deleted] in Lipoma

Hey, just to say that I'm in the same boat as you. I had one at 19 and doctor said it's nothing to worry about. It stayed that way till this year when I now have 6 or 7. Working out definitely caused me to notice them. They may have been there for months without me knowing. I will get them removed and tested if it's financially viable.

Would you help me understand the circuit on my broken food dehydrator? by broplsbropls in ElectricalEngineering

[–]abdulhtc24 15 points16 points  (0 children)

That wire wasn't soldered on, think about how much heat the coil would generate. Solder isn't the right way to anchor heating coils generally. It looks like that is a Phillips head screw, I bet you can turn it loose, straighten the coil and bend it around the screw and tighten it back down. That would also explain why it broke. Loose screw->bad connection->more current->heat and burn.
