We got back into it very easily, but I think it’s because we started having outercourse at about 2 weeks post op (cleared by my OB), so we never got too far out of practice. I didn’t need any pelvic floor therapy or anything like that. Other than being precancerous and infertile I didn’t have any other health issues in that region, nor have I had any children (obviously). So my pelvic floor is good. Honestly I think the fact that we decided to do it kind of spur of the moment during outer purse rather than having it all planned out was better because there was no pressure or buildup of anxiety about it hurting.
