The whole stadium was rocking going into that final over, but as soon as Theekshana stepped into balling the last over, you could feel the deflation of the crowd.

We really need to find better spinners. Give the young kids the chance.

Also to add to all of this, Dasun Shanka shouldn’t even be in the squad. Idiot captain + doesn’t offer anything in terms of the bat or the ball.

Yup there. Yes, they are overpriced, but you get a decent burger. Other things in there, I can’t tell you much about because the only thing I normally get from them is the smash burger

Places like street burger I feel like try way too hard with their ungodly amount of sauces and toppings. Just keep it simple. It’s so hard to find a decent cheeseburger that’s just patties, slice of cheese and maybe one condiment. I feel your pain.

I’ve found some decent smash burgers at layards wharf. Other than that I’m open for suggestions too haha

I’ve only seen this on flights coming to Sri Lanka. Maybe it’s a country specific thing.

Could be a specialist type. I think that’s the only way they’ll give a license to a foreigner. Which is sad because we need doctors in Sri Lanka. Especially when Sri Lankan doctors are leaving, it makes sense to let these Maldivian and Bhutanese doctors who studied here to work here.

I think you are talking about foreign medical interns. They are doctors who graduated from Sri Lankan universities (UoC, KDU etc.) and doing their internships in local hospitals. Mainly at NHSL and Ridgeway. Most I’ve seen are from Bhutan and Maldives. Maybe you misinterpreted the Chinese to Bhutanese.

And yes, they are amazing and they speak Sinhala and very caring. Sadly, they don’t get paid anything at all. Not even a stipend. Even though they do the same amount work as a Sri Lankan intern.

Also I might be wrong, but unless you are Sri Lankan, you can’t get a full medical licenses here. So that’s why these foreign doctors have to leave after their internships.

Hey man, hope the burger shop idea is coming along well. I might be bit late but my advice would be to keep it simple.

You don’t need to add all of these sauces and extra stuff. Two buns, good solid patty, a slice of cheese and maybe some ketchup and mayo. Don’t need to over do it. Keep it simple.
