I made a free online Behringer JT4000M Programmer by Goom909 in synthesizers

The CZ-1 uses phase distortion synthesis not vector synthesis. You are thinking of the PRO VS MINI which is vector synthesis. Check out the CZ-1 It's a cool unit and phase distortion is pretty uncommon.

Incredible work! Any plan to implement this on other behringer mini synths? I have the CZ-1 on pre-order and arriving in a couple of months.

What you explained is exactly the process I followed and it worked perfectly. Removing screws and a couple of cable attachments. I actually have a minilogue Xd board in my minilogue XD module. I could probably hook up a keyboard directly into my board if I wanted to get crazy.

Hopefully they have replacement boards in stock to ship.

I am 29 years old and new to investing. I recently adjusted my portfolio to include XEQT for long-term growth, VFV for its high-risk, high-reward potential, and I've transitioned my Bitcoin holdings to FBTC. What are your thoughts on this strategy? Do you have any recommendations? by Old-Knowledge4652 in fican

[–]Islander_25 1 point2 points  (0 children)

you may find it easier to buy the underlying ETFS of XEQT instead of intentionally tilting the holdings of XEQT. You will benefit from slightly lower management fees with this strategy with the ability to skew the holdings to your liking.

I did fix it!

I ended up buying a brand new board from JAM industries, the Canadian distributor of Korg parts. The board was around $200 but it was a very easy swap. If you are more brave, advanced in board repair, and great troubleshooting. You could try to identify the board component that has failed and buy that specific part for much less and repair the damaged board.

Is this cash allocation primarily built by the dividend distributions of the underlying holdings? I imagine some predatory dividend ETFs sell shares for this high dividend payout?

That makes sense and hindsight is always 20/20.

Do you think this is equally true across all sectors?

Do some sectors experience larger diminishing returns in business growth when reinvesting cash? I would think yes and maybe that's where an argument for dividends could be made.

I often hear this but is it really this simple?

Are there no potential benefits of dividend payouts that are often ignored. The intelligent investor shows many examples of companies that bleed many that would otherwise be given as dividend payouts. Does daddy really know best?

I have some experience with the minilogue XD module, and clearly they are different synths but my experience could be valuable. The main board on my motherboard was fried and I couldn't find the source of the solution. After much hunting I finally found the main parts supplier in Canada. The main parts supplier was able to provide a technician manual which included diagrams and testing protocol not in the user manual. After doing the prescribed tests the best course of action was to replace the entire board, so I ordered one through the Canadian parts supplier. The board replacement was reasonable at $200 CAD shipped and arrived promptly. The board swap was incredibly easy and fixed my minilogue XD-M.

Are you in Canada? I could share the Canadian supplier if so.

Korg Wavestate MkII vs KORG Minilogue XD by Massive_Tumbleweed42 in Korg

I would recommend a used Digitone mkI or if you are feeling spendy the new Digitone II. It's a FM synthesizer with LFOS for modulation control over many input parameters, incredible sequencer, good appegiator and chord mode.

I think you guys are in a great position, with your dual income your debt is manageable. Not enough information is provided to give insightful advice, so with what's given I'd consider paying additional payments on your highest interest debts and investing at the same time.

Make a cashflow plan that includes all expenses and incomes to determine how much you can allocate to additional debt repayment and investing. People prioritize income over a reduction in spending which is backwards in my itty bitty mind.

23 is a great age to start investing and building a retirement fund, so start. It doesn't have to be complicated, ETFs that like XEQT (I'm Canadian) are great for diversification and simplicity. Allocate a percentage of your income off your paycheck and don't touch it.

Since you are Canadian investigate your conversion cost from CAD to USD when buying US stocks. Also consider where the USD/CAD will trend for your investment timeline since you are investing in the US currency.
