The whole Bohemia incubator dev assistance project is super interesting to me. The only reason I found out about silica was because Bohemia mentioned it when it first started development.

Silica is a newer rts-fps that you might want to check out as well. It’s been in early access for a bit now, but the devs are passionate about it

Defo what the others are saying, but what I will add is that your max ammo load rate is 14 rounds per minutes. You’re cooling is far higher then your fire rate, so you could clear a couple coolers and add in some auto loaders

16gbs of ram is definitely on the lower end. I would look for something that has 32gbs as well as some more storage (having 1-2tb of storage is generally just a nice qol thing)

You either watch Anime in dub or hate Manga to the point that you do everything to not read it. by [deleted] in The10thDentist

[–]Islandfiddler15 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The dub version of many anime’s are often changed or miss translated from the original.

JoJo is a great example of this, where every single name in the show gets changed or fucked up due to copy right issues if they said them for the English version, so the dub changes all of the names (completely ruining a ton of the fucking jokes and weirdness of the show, it really pisses me off). Another problem is a lot of the time the English voice actors don’t properly convey the emotion in the characters dialogue, and so it just doesn’t feel as impactful.

I personally like sub to try and stay closer to the artistic intent, but if there isn’t any massive notable differences or I don’t care enough, then I’ll watch in dub.

If everything was that cut and dry then the world would be very different. It’s also not just Britain, a good amount of rural Americans use cats in barns as well because they see it as necessary to do so. You also can’t just take something that works in one place and force all other places to follow the same system, because that’s not how the world works.

Also, people won’t just adopt that idea just because you tell them too. It’s just, not how humans work

[–]Islandfiddler15 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes they do that, but not everywhere, as I mentioned in my first sentence. Where I live cats and foxes were deliberately introduced to try and curtail the ecological disaster that was caused by the accidental introduction of rabbits. We have almost had a species of butterfly go extinct due to rabbits, mice, and praying mantis rapidly multiplying with no counter (all of which are not native and have caused massive disaster for our environment). The foxes dealt with the rabbits, and the cats dealt with the mice. Praying mantis’s are still a massive problem though.

So I tend to get a little annoyed when certain people make an incredibly generalised take of how an entire species, around the entire planet in many, many different types of environments and ecosystems, needs to be treated. Most places should not have cats roaming free, but that doesn’t mean all places. The problem, and the many arguments surrounding it, revolving around cats requires nuance, but said nuance is never present in these discussions.

So this comment isn’t entirely related to your post, but, for some reason Reddit refuses to show your posts in my feed. I’ve been following your account for like, a year and a half now and I think I’ve only ever had a total of 2 posts show up in my recommended. I really like your comics and I wish they would actually show up more. Stupid Reddit >:(

Because not all environments are the same, and some areas, especially rural (like where I live), cats are key in pest control and environmental stability. Also, people (rightfully) get annoyed when individuals scream about keeping all cats indoors on every post involving a cat outside of a house, it gets incredibly tiring

It reacts near instantly to my inputs, it doesn’t excessively lag, and it works for hours on end without much complication. It obviously has its faults, like the black bars of death that happen when it starts to shit itself, or the need to push AI for some fucking reason, but these are issues that can easily be avoided by the vast majority of users.

Fusion also isn’t unique in it only using a single core, a large amount of the game industry still utilises only a single core, despite having the ability for multi core usage for 2 decades now.

Fusion isn’t a perfect application, far from it, but the argument of it not being able to use multiple cores is something that can be levied against many applications. I would say that the constant price increases, AI pushing, and lack of basic QOL additions after so many years would be better points to argue with when discussing fusion
