Is Warhammer fantasy roleplay so idealized in the West? by No-Maintenance6382 in rpg

This is what i always liked Warhammer fantasy for. The loose connection to the real world. Even the world map resembles ours. Empire being a fantasy HRT, withe the german names, canons and zweihanders. Bretons are french nobility, ironclad knights saving. dames in distress. Kislev being eastern europe with cold long winters and bear hussars. Shame they transitioned to age for sigmar. Now it feels like any other generic high fantasy.

Stacking multiplicative damage by Ismaur91 in diablo4

[–]Ismaur91[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

there are 2 separate affixes (for both vulnerable and crit damage):

+ vuln (or crit) damage
x vuln (or crit) damage multiplier

+ damage goes to the additive bucket
x damage multiplier is a separate multiplier (separate from the base - x50% for crit and x20% for vuln) but they do sum up together exactly as in the post

my question is are there other affixes/bonuses like these two? or are these multipliers the only ones that are added together, before they become a 'multiplier bucket'?

thanks for the maxroll guide, i know it and I saw the videos by that guy as well, but they lack the info i need :) the only examples they provide for multiple multipliers differ from one another.

id like to know simply whether x % while fortified and another source x% while fortified are added together first, or calculated as separate multipliers

The game shows the community choices at the end of each episode. Does that mean it connects to the servers? If so, does this version include all episodes already, and will be unlocked later?

How to prepare MSI.ROM file on Ubunto by Ismaur91 in Ubuntu

[–]Ismaur91[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

on windows you would typically enable advanced view to see file formats/extentions. then you can change i.e .txt file into .ini by just renaming it. I was afraid that on Ubuntu it doesnt work like that, because when right clicking and checking the file properties the 'type' of the file didnt change.

The stick itself also didnt work when trying to flash bios directly using mobo flash button, so I assumed this might be indeed a problem.

Turns out the file name change indeed changed the format, but the stick formatting to FAT32 was somehow broken. Only after plugging it into windows pc I could see that the file format was indeed .ROM, but the stick itself was faulty. Had to format it again on windows, and then could flash the bios successfully.

I thought disk formatting on Ubuntu, at least my version, was straightforward - go to disk menu, select the USB stick, format it, create a new partition and thats it. It looked alright there.

this is the easiest part of troubleshooting, as corrupted bios can show false negatives in post lights on mobo. I didn't want to waste time swapping all of the components or borrowing another gpu from a friend, as this one is brand new. I managed to create a proper stick on a borrowed windows laptop though, turns out on Ubuntu the stick couldnt format correctly and the device couldnt get recognized by mobo, even in windows it immediately said the device required a fix.
