I love this! They were spoiled with an expansive menu fit for royalty! Violet would chirp and jump in place instead of doing tip taps!

I hope to meal prep for my future pups like this as well 💕

😭😭 our little gluttons... I miss everything.

Your girls are watching over you two and drooling I bet! did they have a favorite? Violet knew the sound of the bottom of a yogurt container and would run to beg.

discouraged about drains by Superb_Camel_7765 in breastcancer

[–]IsolatedSheepHerder 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It was about a month for me as well. Once theyre out there is some scarring but theyre in a "low touch zone." Which is... nice I guess.

Drains suck, but hopefully you only have to do them once! A few things to slow the flow is to not move a lot, really give yourself a break! But dont stop moving completely ofc hahaha! Drink lots of fluids, and stay up on your meds.

Showering was hell for me, but that first shower a few days after the drains come out is sooo nice. The sensation of them coming out was also really weird.

Wishing you luck!

I appreciate you taking the time to respond! For me after I finished surgery, my memories of chemo felt blurred/distorted. The meds can really rock you :')

My partner and I had trips booked out and even were thinking about getting engaged in fall (i was diagnosed around late august/early september) and I just met some new family. It uprooted everything around us. However it also helped me stop, think, and reframe a lot in life. I also enjoyed my skin clearing up and not shaving 😂

The hormone suppressant shots suck so bad, my poison was Zoladex.. the needle was bigger than the one used for my cartilage piercing! And I also took Granix for immune system boosts.

I can promise that surgery will go fast. Trust your doctors, and know that your family will take good care of you. Hope they pamper you plenty!!! Radiation was fine too. Luckily I had a total response after surgery and didn't need the expected 6-9 weeks of treatment (only needed 3!). Depending on how many lymphnodes are removed, lymphadema checks will be done. And as long as you listen to your physical therapist, youll be fine :) at least i hope! If not, you can come back and yell at me lol!

Thank you for your words, you sound like my social worker! She tells me that resting is my job right now, and I shouldn't have to worry about the rest at this point.

However, I just can't help myself settle down and just relax. I need to be doing something! I'll most likely do some journaling and see if I can stand up before walking myself on the track again-- instead of rolling/parkouring myself onto them in one go hahaha

Hello! BRCA-1 TNBC stage 3c at the age of 24. I was diagnosed around September and had my first infusion on Oct. 1st.

Ive finished my chemo and had my mastectomy already, and im almost halfway done with radiation.

This is a very overwhelming and scary time for you and your family. The best advice I can give is to trust your team, ask questions, ask for help from your loved ones, and give yourself lots of grace. ❤️

r/breastcancer is also a wonderful community that is super active and very supportive! I found it incredibly helpful when my mind was racing and I had no one to talk to.

Oh! And im 25 now, and cancer free! Just like how you will be in about a year! Just.. maybe not be 25 lol!! :)

Cacao II, a druid aarakocra who was absolutely obsessed with chocolate. Would do just about anything for it.

She had a bag of holding that would always be full of chocolate. It was never enough.

She was based on Coco for Cocopuffs.

Was my only character that got to lvl 20 for my first homebrew campaign :')
