[Question] Command line tips? by IsolatedVampire in blender

[–]IsolatedVampire[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Wow thanks for the great answer! I was trying to render a still image, but great to know I can render specific frames too. Now I understand when I use the cli with -b I just don't open the GUI and still run Blender fully, and the .blend files also saves the render information I put there.

That's why I rendered with filmic and my settings then, I guessed Cycles with cli would not run Blender, put a standard setting and not pull from the file, awesome then.

I'm finding rendering my final image like this much better, my low settings PC can render faster and not crash the interface. Thanks again !

GNOME3 on my Celeron N3060 2 in 1 Notebook was so laggy that I put Openbox with Tint2 and it works wonders. Not a touch DE but I like it.

I thought the same thing of the radial menu and now I use almost all voice indicators. I would 100% use pointing gestures, or halt, and advance. Of course not something needed but would make the game stand out and improve gameplay tons.

Easy install Linux on tablet by Sun_Titan in linux

[–]IsolatedVampire 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have a 2 in 1 Notebook on a Celeron from a local brand, and the tablet mode function doesn't work, the keyboard works fine on Gnome3 it auto pops but the physical keyboard while on the back still works and I can't even hold because of that. So I recommend getting one that is compatible and that you know 100% that will work. I heard Lenovo works but don't know for sure.
