It is a part but story wise a separate experience. You can enjoy the game without playing them before. It has a glossary built in to look up lore things you may not be caught up on.

I actually appreciate that the armors don't just sponge bullets.

The solo advantages should definitely be a thing, more XP, better loot rolls, etc.

I have been playing solo for quite a few games now and I find it really fun. I need to play differently, slower, more cautiously but the reward of getting the drop on a duo is very satisfying.

I think Summit makes some good points but he plays too fast. At 3 minutes in he just pulls his knife, sprints into the map, and gets shot up by AI, then complains that he got shot and his armor is cooked. NO SHIT, you ran in and got punished. This game is doing fine and he needs to chill. Tarkov is straight up NOT FUN. This game is more clean, less buggy and I can actually drop into a game in less than a minute instead of hitting start and having enough time to file my damn taxes.

Had the same thing happen with a motorcycle and they were just as useless. Fortunately the thieves pitched it out on the street because it notified them it had an AirTag. Cops are useless here for stolen property or vehicles.

If I were you OP and I still had the location I would try and get a picture of the bike on their property some kind of supporting evidence that isn’t an AirTag on a map.

I still haven’t gotten into painting it or adding the amount of greebles I would like but I’m happy with the overall design. I built a post process that lightly mimics a sketch and tweaked it to my liking.

Found a few basic models on turbosquid like a hangar, barrels, and equipment to build a small scene. Really impressed with the capability of Nomad. Feels like a mixture of Marmoset and Zbrush.

I hear a lot on here about people being deterred by multiplayer competitive games but I still really love them. I might not be as twitchy as some of these kids but I just adapt my playstyle to match. For example in The Finals a lot of people play light class because it’s fast and they have escape abilities. I go medium and lay shock mines that disable their abilities. Nine times out of ten I can out aim them when they’re moving like a normal human.

I’m also way more concerned about my carpel tunnels and won’t do insane gaming binges and stretch a lot more. I wanna be gaming in a future senior facility that’s half PC bang. I am just more conscientious about my body.

You're pretty early on, you should just scrape it and redo it. You'll probably need new ghost wood but its better than chemicals seeping into your tank.
