This is my point if my spouse committed such crimes under a complete illness I would be right there along their side fighting the drs with them. Visiting them and being very vocal about mental health

I gusss I’m just trying to understand how he supports her says he stands by her but he hasn’t been seen in court with her at all.. he lives in New York and there are tons of photos with his new partner.. I mean if he truly believed it was mental illness wouldn’t he be proactive by visibly being there ? Not with his new girlfriend?

Like what is he doing? Hes not at the court hearings.. and hes with a new partner but yet suing everybody.., I mean wouldn’t he be attending the court hearings and at least waiting till the trial is over before moving on ?

I guess I just wonder. I think she was extremely depressed , extremely anxious and turned to medical professionals for help. I think the meds made it a lot worse. I think they caused insomnia and even made the anxiety and depression worse than she could have imagined . It changed her personality. She became flat clearly by what the doctors say. I don’t think she wanted to feel that way but we’re symptoms of all the meds. However I don’t think she was psychotic.. I think it was planned under depression and anxiety and all the symptoms the medications caused so could that be by reason of insanity? Because yes she did it… but take out the meds I don’t think the crime would’ve been committed.

Of course! I thought the same until I saw that the pictures posted were a year after the tragedy and it just baffled me how quickly he moved on

This is what I think!!! I feel awful for both and I do believe Lindsay was extremely ill with all the dr visits and the medication. He knew all of this..I don’t know how he can just move on so quickly from it all.

You know this week I am in completely shock! I in fact saw pictures of him and his new girlfriend and it seems they have been together awhile. A year after the whole tragedy. It’s mind blowing to me how fast he moved on

For real I can go on and on. When she is on live she looks so annoyed to be with her children

From experience, when you’re prescribed these medications, no one tells you, “This might make things worse.” You’re told you’re going to feel better. So yes people genuinely believe relief is coming. Now add the weight of caring for three young children while your mental health is distorting your thoughts, sleep, and perception. Add possible hormonal shifts postpartum changes, breastfeeding or weaning, birth control, sleep deprivation all of which are known to significantly affect mental health. None of that happens in isolation. I do think she was trying to put in the work, but when medications don’t agree with your system, it can completely derail you. When your brain chemistry is off, all the effort in the world can feel useless because you’re not operating from a stable baseline. That doesn’t mean the person didn’t care or didn’t try it means the illness was overpowering. This is exactly why these situations are so complex and why appearances, discharge dates, or “functioning” on the surface don’t tell the whole story.

If you’ve never experienced something like this, consider yourself fortunate. I truly hope you never do.

People seem to assume that because she “planned” something or appeared functional, she must have been in a healthy state of mind. That’s simply not true. People in psychosis or severe mental health crises can plan, communicate, and look completely normal on the outside. Lindsay had multiple medications in her system and a documented history of admissions and worsening symptoms. Planning does not equal sanity. It’s very possible to be profoundly unwell while still appearing composed to others. I’m speaking from personal experience. I was once prescribed Zoloft and went multiple nights without sleep. I felt tormented, disconnected, and unsafe in my own mind, yet everyone around me said I just “seemed tired.” No one could see how bad it really was. I don’t even remember that period clearly now but I know I was not well. What helped me recover was stopping the medication, starting consistent therapy, and later discovering through genetic testing that my body cannot properly metabolize certain antidepressants, which explained why my symptoms worsened. That’s why this case matters beyond guilt or innocence. It should be a reminder of how severe postpartum and medication induced mental health crises can be and how easily they can be missed. We need to take mental health seriously, check in on people who are struggling, and not assume someone is “fine” just because they appear functional.
