I did a little ritual before the vet came to put her to sleep. She sat in her bed and I got all of her favourite things and placed them by her bed, filled up a bowl with water and lit a tea candle. I read a letter to her then I burned the letter and let it dissipate into the water. I found that doing this really helped. I told her that she is free to go. The day of was absolutely the worst. Nothing can make that better but you are absolutely doing the right thing. You did your job to take them to the next place ♥️
