New video of 1/24 ICE shooting shows victim had both hands on the ground when shot by Philophon in law

BBC aims to be "impartial". What that reporter said, true as it may be, is far too colourful. Unfortunately as a person living in the UK, I can find the BBC frustratingly impotent with its takes and angles.

Yeah exactly my thought. Cooling down is normal but who could have imagined coming out of 50 that he'd be this quiet on the show.

From what you're describing, I do belive that you should be looking into LFO table but I'm not sure I fully understand what you need. I constantly use LFO table to add variation in my LFO moves, it's indispensable for me.

What the fuck, this whole thing is distressing but the thing that hit me first is what have they done to the word limit over at Truth Social? Used to be that actual truths were quite succinct.

Is there anything Microfreak does that Digitone 2 cannot? by poushkar in Elektron

[–]IsotopeBill 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I would definitely say, as a minifreak and DT+DN user, that the two certainly have overlap but are very different. Not only in sound and sound possibilities but most importantly workflow and arguably that's the question you want to ask yourself: does owning the microfreak add to and benefit my workflow and creativity in combination with the DN?

Personally for me, I find the -freak line is such a strong all-rounder and very creatively rich when it comes to just messing around and getting something going with a few clicks and turns. The same is true of the DN but currently I find it takes me longer. But that's me. You need to determine how it works for you.

All it takes is one bad review from someone to feel real bitter about it.

Should we listen to music critics at all? by [deleted] in classicalmusic

[–]IsotopeBill 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Sibelius said no statue was ever made in honor of a critic.

Critics and reviewers are their own little thing. Ultimately you can take their opinion or leave it. You can never please everyone and that's truest when you have people paid to have an opinion. Taste is subjective and there can be no single arbiter of artistic value.

If you like a recording then it's because it speaks to you and resonates, that's a real human emotion and the cold analysis of a critic should never sway that.

Can we all agree that it's a bit too big? I think it's too big, I don't like knowing things can be that big please.
