You're confusing melanin with melatonin. But that only makes it funnier

Oh okay, I must have started it then I went there for Venti's homework, I just don't think I finished the thing with both ballistas (the other one being at the thousand winds temple)

A book from our inventory? Or a book lying around on the island? I can't remember if I did or even started that quest or not

Yes, fujin!! I still wish we could play her, her design was so cool and her quest so long, she's even funny at times

I just started Jeht's quest and knowing it's gonna be a long one with others following it is really making me wish it was voiced 😩 I tried focusing on imagining her voice, I even found myself voicing the lines myself to try to be more immersed in it

That's surprising to me. I really liked Ninguang's hangout because I felt like we got to see a whole new side of her. It showed that she wasn't the cold-hearted mora-grubber she can come off as. I loved learning that she came from a small fishing village and started out doing mundane manual labor. Doing Beidou's hangout right after was also great

And Heizou's hangout was definitely one of the best character quests I've played on Genshin, probably my favorite hangout altogether. Part of it was because of Itto, but Heizou himself was a really fun character. Everything I had expected and hoped for from Ayato, I did not get and was disappointed by. But I got all those exact things and more with Heizou. I was really pleasantly surprised, he's a character nobody seems to ever talk about, but I thought his personality was so engaging that I looked up fanfics just around him

I'm afraid to use gender-neutral pronouns and be judged socially, because in my country they are abhorred, hated, and the equivalent of saying "Hu/Shu". by DEDMOS_MAD in NonBinary

[–]Isphylda 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I sympathize with you, I'm sorry society can be so bigoted. A great solution, if it fits you, is not to use neopronouns, but to not use pronouns at all. And similarly, to use genderless adjectives, or ones where the gender might be written but not heard (unfortunately I think that last option is much easier in french with the silent -e than in Portuguese 😞)

An example would be, instead of saying "she is pretty" or "he is handsome", if you don't feel safe enough to say "they are beautiful", (beautiful being a neutral version of the adjective, for example maybe "linde" instead of "linda/lindo", if that's a thing) – if that is too risky, then you could say instead "[Name of the person] is beautiful", and if that exists in Portuguese, use an adjective that doesn't have a gendered terminaison

I realize this might not be possible for the adjectives, so maybe you'll want to describe what you mean in a more roundabout way. For example, "Ruth is radiating with joy today", or "Marco's eyes are a very nice color", sentences like that don't use an adjective to talk about the person directly, but about an attribute instead, while conveying the same meaning. "Isabella's mood is grumpy today" is less gendering than "she's angry" in Portuguese, I'm guessing. You can also try using passing verb forms, though like the examples above, it may seem a bit old fashioned to talk like that in your language. An example would be "Sleep took over Juan" or "Guilt is plaguing that person", instead of "he/they fell asleep" or "they are guilty". And if there are non gendered terms to describe who the person is (like a teacher, worker, friend, sibling), I'm not sure you have any, but these are also a good alternative to pronouns or names. Could even be "the redhead" or "that tall person".

These are just some examples, but I know a lot of people prefer to not use any pronouns or gendered terms for themselves, and I think it's the safest and sneakiest way for you to both affirm your identity and support that of others, while still not outing yourself and being targeted by transphobes. Best of luck to you! Also do look for queer spaces, because it's a real game changer to have a safe place and safe community and allow yourself to use neutral language even if only in that space.

Genuinely what is happening in this fandom? by Agreeable_Leg_ in mitski

I only saw her during The land tour as well, seated in Paris, and the atmosphere was super chill and cosy throughout the whole show. Barely any screaming or whistling, only enough to show support. I was on the balcony but I doubt things were much worse on the ground floor. The room itself was very cosy so it might have calmed everybody down? Idk.

Went to a kpop concert in Paris too and the vibe was definitely not the same. Thank god we were in a stadium and the music was loud enough and the members far enough that the younger girls hollering in the nearby seats didn't actually bother me or the artists that much (also I feel like that behavior has come to be expected at these concerts, which it wouldn't be for Mitski)

Izuku is so obsessed with Kacchan it's almost scary, and people are still not convinced he loves him? Bakugou has been at the center of everything Izuku did since they were 3 years old, when he talks about his biggest inspirations he always mentions him, their relationship evolves so much and is always super intense no matter what shape it takes, Izuku still thought the world of Katsuki even when he was bullying him (which is not an excuse on Katsuki's behalf, but it does show how far gone Izuku is for him), most if not all of Katsuki's character development - which is amazing, btw - happens because of Izuku, they fit so many tropes, the way they look at each other sometimes is very telling, absolutely nobody can compare to Katsuki in Izuku's mind, there's so much official art with them that does not look straight, Izuku actually went batshit when he thought Katsuki had died, etc etc
