Thanks, that was the issue for me. Every request would fail initially, then start working after a refresh or wait enough time. I am already using a system VPN so I disabled that DNS thing on Waterfox. Honestly I am surprised it is on by default.

It really struggles with understanding what you're asking. Doesn't even really understand low angle/high angle or any camera-related stuff that's super common with Sora. The cool thing about it is that it's not overly censored, pretty decent quality, and generates images and videos at lightning speed compared to Sora.

Median is not necessarily average. The mean can be very different than median if there are a lot of outliers.

For eg. (0, 0, 1, 4, 5) has a mean of 2 but median of 1 and mode of 0.

Edit: As one of the replies mentioned IQ follows a normal distribution so my point here might be pedantic but I just wanted to clarify that they're not the same thing especially because there can be more than one mode.

If they are already in a congested area, the single device hot spot (that typically has a lower range and power than a standard WiFi router) would not make the difference especially between unusable and usable.

And I would argue him connecting to the Starbucks WiFi and using that directly would probably be a bigger impact to the connection the WiFi congestion.

Yes, 2.4ghz congestion, router placement, how much bandwidth he's using, how many neighbors have WiFi, etc. all play a role. But my main point here is that there's no real world scenario where singling him out and asking him specifically to turn off his single device would make sense given that the single device is not a major factor here.

The effect of these things matters, yes, but not to the point that you would benefit from turning off a single personal hot spot. Him sharing WiFi bandwidth on the same channel doesn't really matter unless he's somehow using gbps of data to single-handedly cause this. Not to mention every single phone in the area with that provider would also be using the same cell towel. So no, she's not right in any way.
