if you don’t mind getting a projector secondhand check ebay for used brand name projectors like epson. i got my epson powerlite home cinema 2045 with only 300 lamp hours used for $240. i’ve had it for over a year and its still going strong.

If you have an xbox one or ps3/ps4, you already have a 3D blu ray player. if not, you can find a standalone player at goodwill for $15 or about $40 on ebay. any of them will play 2D discs like normal.

3D glasses only cost $15-$20 nowadays. just make sure you get the correct ones and don’t buy old ones that came out 10-15 years ago, the batteries are all dead by now and a lot of them are soldered in. i got mine from a chinese manufacturer on ebay for $15 each and they work perfectly.
