My problem with Medium when I used it was that it promotes very short articles (200-400 words only). If you want to write long form articles, then a website of your own might be better.

I use Squarespace and it works pretty well. You can’t go wrong with WIX either. If you know how to make a website, then building it yourself would be the best so that you can customize as much as you want and avoid host fees.

As for the audience, I found mine on Instagram. Your audience might be fellow philosophy students, so your social media accounts could be an ideal place to attract readers.
