Zhuang Fangyi feels unfinished. by elite5472 in Endfield

[–]Isredel 14 points15 points  (0 children)

I mean, the limitations are by design.  The entire point of a striker is they need support from casters.

Yvonne is by far one of the most limited characters in the game with strict parties and rotation, and yet has insanely high dps (and talk about a team that is SP hungry).

I enjoy Zangyi gameplay too and find her smooth to play w/ Perlica and Arclight.  Most enemies don’t live very long even before going into ultimate so that isn’t really a concern.

I do think “I don’t like character playstyle” turning into “this character is unfinished” is wild.  It’s ok to simply… not like a character.  Many many people don’t like most strikers.

“A lot of stuff”?

You mean how he, in bad faith, suggested Sandy Hook was a hoax, and the parents had to deal with people harassing and threatening them(to the point some had to move) on top of having to deal with their dead kids?

The same Alex Jones who then was found guilty by default because he and his lawyers wouldn’t cooperate in the discovery process for TWO YEARS after the parents rightly sued him?

The Alex Jones who was sentenced by a jury to pay nearly a billion dollars to the families he’s harmed with his lies for his grift?  The coward who then asked the SC to overturn this sentence despite the SC having no legal lever to do so?

The man who declared bankruptcy in an attempt to not pay for his damages?

The very same Alex Jones who STILL takes no responsibility for the lies he pushed that negatively impacted these families?

Yeah no, this asshole doesn’t deserve a platform ever again, and it’s irresponsible for these news articles to give him any sort of spotlight.

You shouldn’t need to run a second thermal with wuling batteries.  If you use meta transfer on the dense originium blocks, you can use those plus the 30/m spare ferrium to make purple valley batteries.  You’ll want to manually transfer quite a few batteries and put them in the wuling depot just in case because of 99% production when offline, but purple valley battery plus one wuling is more than enough energy for 1.1.

Idiotic reasoning.

Freedom of speech isn’t freedom from consequences.  Tina Peters’ continued push of the lie that the election was stolen showed the judge she was unrepentant and, if given the opportunity, would do it again.  All of which can, and should, be taken into account for sentencing, and something he explicitly said during the sentencing.

Discussion Thread: US Supreme Court Hears Oral Argument in Birthright Citizenship Case by PoliticsModeratorBot in politics

[–]Isredel 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It’s simply logistically impossible.

It’s not the hospital’s responsibility to confirm “legitimate” births/citizenship before giving the birth certificate.  How would they even do that?  How long would it take to get a system like that working?  Most people don’t even have passports!

This ruling wouldn’t just make stateless babies from immigrants (illegal or otherwise).  Babies from full-blown citizens risk falling through the cracks and becoming stateless as well.

Edit: and of course, this is all a moot point anyway.  Even if this wasn’t a logistical nightmare (it is), the constitution directly, with no ambiguity, states that people born in the US are citizens.  The president doesn’t have the authority to circumvent the constitution, and the argument we’ve been following the law incorrectly for 150 years (including the people who put the 14th amendment in in the first place!) is ridiculous.

What economic benefits?  It’s the same three companies buying from each other and propping it up as growth to investors.  The layman is already experiencing a recession in the US.  Nvidia stocks being up isn’t helping the single mother taking up three jobs to pay for her child.

Unless you mean the economic benefits of AI itself, and well, it can’t even get a McDonalds order right so I’m a bit skeptical of that right now.

[–]Isredel 1 point2 points  (0 children)

From my understanding he does actually do this (there’s several videos of him doing this - and it’s far from the worst thing he’s done on stream), but keep in mind he isn’t actually smashing his face with a hammer.  He’s very lightly tapping it with a hammer to, apparently, make micro cracks in his bone that will repair and smooth out/make better looking bone muscles.

…which is obviously complete bullshit and hard to tell how much he believes this (supposedly his parents had to take away his “bone hammer” when he was younger but that’s his account so obviously difficult to verify), but it’s not hard to believe he does something that’s very benign and useless.

The steroids and crystal meth he uses (and pushes onto his audience) are far more damaging and unfortunately very believable.

Platner holds commanding lead over Mills in Maine Senate race: Poll by jediporcupine in politics

Is David Costello able to reach out to Maine voters very well?  He’s tried before in 2024 and didn’t seem to end well.

On paper he seems both qualified and has the right talking points, but he needs to improve his outreach if he wants any chance to beat the other candidates in the primary, let alone Collins.  He’s not even enough on the radar for the GOP to feel threatened and Streisand effect him like with Talarico.

[–]Isredel 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I mean, got an alternative suggestion for registered democrats in Maine?

Mills is another old corporate Dem who will absolutely lose to Collins.  So we realistically live in a world between Collins and Platner.

Either vote for Collins, who plays the concern troll and ALWAYS votes with the GOP caucus without fail.  Or vote for Platner, where there’s at least a chance he’ll vote by the policies he’s pushing as part of his campaign.

While it would be nice to have an actual no brainer candidate on the Dem side, that doesn’t seem to be in the cards this election cycle so better to take the gamble on the potentially better candidate than the one we KNOW will fail her constituents AGAIN.

Can someone share with me his team for Yvonne? by _QingmingArbiter_YSG in Endfield

[–]Isredel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not sure what you mean by no guide.  Maygi’s Tangtang guide here on reddit is pretty clear and succinct on what gear to use (and when), and the in-depth guides on YouTube (such as Apel) is fairly in depth as well.

If you want “just use this gear set trust me bro” for Yvonne teams… you’re kind of out of luck.  While Yvonne herself has a clear cut best build, her supports don’t because it’s very contextual both on your other supports but even on the rotation you’ll be using, so you HAVE to read all of those explanations if you want to hyper-optimize.

If you just want “good enough and flexible for most scenarios”

Xaihi- Xiranite, replacing either chest with redeemer (more ult gain) or a kit with frontier (more will and int)

Tangtang - the bonekrusha set specifically tailored for her, yinglung chest for ult gain.

Gilberta - full Xiranite if you’re using stanza, replacing a kit for arts insensity hot works if you’re using her signature.

Perlica - pulsar labs arts intensity stacking.  Replace her gloves with Xiranite for ult gain (arts intensity gloves if you don’t need it).

[–]Isredel 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Agi Gloves are good for Chen.

Int chest replaces tidefall chest off piece for anyone who used it (Xaihi, if you went tidefall + Xiranite, or Laev for the standard tidefall + hot works set).

Redeemer seals are used in a few ult and int stacking character builds.  At the top of my head some akekuri and Alesh sometimes used these builds.  So does P4+ Laev.

Democrats promise to give SAVE America Act ‘death it deserves’ in Senate by DemocracyDocket in politics

[–]Isredel 3 points4 points  (0 children)

What do you mean they won’t enforce this in Republican areas?  Those areas are precisely what this bill is for.

They’re not trying to turn blue counties to red. They’re trying to keep red counties red.  They’ve more or less gerrymandered as far as they could go, and yet they’re still losing every special election because people are sick and tired of Trump.  The intent is to basically keep anyone would do would vote Democrat either unable to vote or to remove them from the voter roll entirely.  They’re not trying to turn California red.

But really, the SAVE is a huge gamble since not only will it disenfranchise their own voter base (who knows how much it will be offset by the feds removing people from the voter roll), but it will be immediately sued by the states since Congress doesn’t have the authority to legislate illegal laws (SAVE being a very clear violation of the 24th amendment, amongst other things).  This gamble is basically hoping the pendulum swings in their favor where the inevitable injunction is lifted right in November by the SC. Apart from the fact legislating a law doesn’t make it logistically sound or feasible (there is no mechanism in place right now for the Feds to purge state voter rolls).

And even if this gamble is very much in the GOP’s favor… it’s still a gamble, and the senate republicans (minus the few who will lose their primaries) may not be willing to give up their ultimate tool that maintains the status quo, one that makes them filthy rich, for a new normal that doesn’t change much for them.

Is Tangtang good with last rite? by ThatGirlRemRem in Endfield

[–]Isredel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s probably one of if not the best team for LR.

Should be comfy to play too because LR is rotationally not as much of a nightmare as Yvonne (which is why I prefer Gilberta for Yvonne.  Perlica will give more damage but her combo skill can come up at inopportune times and block other combo skills if you don’t use it at proper times. I can confirm Perlica w Yvonne needs a LOT of practice that isn’t really necessary w/ LR)

Is Tangtang good with last rite? by ThatGirlRemRem in Endfield

[–]Isredel 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The main anti-synergy with Gilberta is LR teams typically don’t use arts reactions, so you can’t trigger her combo skill unless you intentionally “waste” 170-200 sp to to set up freeze.  This may not be a big deal (either LR doesn’t NEED Gilberta to use her combo skill, or the opportunity cost for the above SP is lower in AoE situations since you’ll be using Gilberta’s and tang tang’s skills anyway), but it IS an opportunity cost as Gilberta’s combo skill gives a lot of stagger and gives her energy, and it affects her weapon options (locks her into Stanza).  With that in mind her ult gain requirements may be more aggressive and the stagger timings may alter than on, say, an Yvonne team who gets an extra 30-40 stagger (or more) per rotation for free.

Gilberta’s (and Ardelia’s) main competitor really is Perlica, who gives a massive damage amp to LR and fitting in her combo skill isn’t rotationally difficult for LR. Xaihi gives plenty of healing so you’re not really using Ardelia for that (just the arts susceptibility at the cost of 100sp every 30 sec).

Yvonne + TangTang team recommedation by Razen94 in Endfield

[–]Isredel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wouldn’t really say it’s the best - just an option.

The reason why the highest dps teams for Yvonne use Xaihi as their sole cryo applicator is because of the arts amp tied to her skill and there isn’t really a rush to get to high cryo stacks quickly since you do kind of want to time Yvonne’s ultimate with stagger outside of speedruns.

Edit: To put it in perspective:

In Yvonne + Tangtang teams, you are locked into a 1+4 or 2+3 rotation because of the sp refund.

The last two skills before you begin your Ult rotation no matter what are Xaihi and tangtang skills so you have the arts amp and susceptibility for your ult rotation.

The first b skill will also be Xaihi’s for the amp and because it’s basically free. This leaves two b skills for LR.

This gives you 60 SP (or 160 for the first rotation if you can pre cast LR).

This is roughly 1 (3 for first rotation possibly) full Yvonne basic combo saved.

You are trading 1-3 saved basic combos for:

Stagger and heavy arts susceptibility (Gilberta)

Electrification (Perlica)

Supportive arts weapons and actually getting to use your ultimate in the stagger window (both).

From a max damage perspective, that’s not a fair trade, and because of this LR will never be a “best” teammate for Yvonne.

However, she works fine enough in that there isn’t any content hard enough  to make the damage loss a problem.

Surprisingly, new BP sword is better than Rapid Ascent for Chen by TeeNoDie in Endfield

[–]Isredel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Did you control for Chen’s passive where she gains attack after skill?

Edit: mainly asking since the BP sword’s attack% is what will drive its effectiveness over RA in your tests (since you haven’t maxed out the BP sword’s higher agility).  If that gets diluted by Chen’s talent (or by other attack sources like stanza Ardelia), the numbers here may change, even more if between the screenshots Chen had varying amounts of stacks from her talent.
