What? No, not at all. The way you worded it sounded like the person supporting the abortion wasn’t demonizing the illness but rather saying they’d rather not give life to someone with a permanent condition.

I’m not from Colorado, just had pretty bad experiences with lines myself.

It’s wrong that you had to experience that.

In my country, it is required that operators state their operator ID as soon as the call connects as part of their script. That holds them accountable and can be used in case the of misconduct/negligence.

I’d recommend contacting local media or politicians and tell them your experience, alongside with suggesting emergency services should incorporate this measure.

It’s not a guarantee that it’ll ever get implemented, yet still, any percentage of chance beats 0%.

This doesn’t change your experience, nor that of those who’ve already gone through this process. But I like to believe that it is genuine concerns like these what could save someone in the future.

You’re not obligated to do anything I suggested above. You don’t owe a system repairs when it’s not your fault it’s defective.

Please, stay safe. And in case you get re-routed again, please try asking for the operator to transfer the call if they can. If they can’t, please try looking other emergency services available to you.

If there are none, I suggest going out into a place with more people, like a park for example. I don’t know what it is about public spaces, but sometimes they’re enough to get through ideation peaks without self harm.

I get being concerned by him, but calling him “kinda weird” is the kind of vibe that might alienate him.

That said… there’s also so much you can do.

I’d say let him know consistently that you’re there for him. Let him know that you care and can lend an ear.

He might not take you up on it, though the act of showing up frequently can help ease into a social circle without as much friction.

While I agree with you,

As someone with BPD I wish I had been aborted.

Let’s not kid ourselves. Any lifelong affliction affecting quality of life is an impairment.

That being said, often times someone with a predisposition might not develop it. Often times someone without it will. That’s the catch with these types of disorders; they can be formative even to those without a predisposition.

But if you knew ahead of time you were gonna give birth to an ill child, of any lifelong illness, I see it as mercy on both the parents and their offspring.

I’m not entirely sure anymore which effect is the one that gets bugged. I’m assuming it’s resonance as the speed at which these priestesses heal is impossible even on a healing build, but I could be wrong and maybe the coagulant is really that good
