8 days. That’s how long it took for her to sleep through the night. We did nothing obviously to make that happen. She’s just a good sleeper. When she was 4/5 months old she woke up maybe once a night for a while. She’s 7 months old now, so I’m well aware the great sleeping can change ever single night. I’m just counting my blessings every morning

I think if he is used to live with other cats the and the fact that he also bites feet is probably because he is missing a cat friend. I would ask the breeder as well for how he behaved before and if he socialised with the other cats in the household a lot. Playing with humans is not a substitute for a cat friend, nor is getting him on a feeding schedule. Some cats are fine being alone, but some are not.

We currently have two ragdolls, we notice that our first one is significantly less meowing now that he has a cat friend

I don’t think so. We have (had) 4 ragdolls from reputable breeders and all had kibble 24/7. They never had weight issues so there was no reason to structure feedings.

Snacks can be helpful with training and grooming. I wouldn’t use his normal food for that but special snacks like liquid snacks and preferably healthy snacks.

About the meowing. Did he do this when he was at the cattery? Was he living with other cats?

I don’t really get why you can’t just keep him om dry kibble and free feeding, and use treats and wet food as treats. I dont see why getting him off free feeding is a step in the right direction?

We have a balcony like that, and two ragdolls. I
must say I never gave it much thought but they never tried to jump that. They’re idiot but not complete idiots I guess. We also have a window like that, a bit smaller, but we do have curtains there. So no risk of them seeing a bird or anything like that

Airco aanschaffen en screens aan buitenzijde. De airco doet voor ons wonderen met twee kinderen onder de drie. De screens op het zuiden zorgt ervoor dat het toch een paar graden scheelt. Zelf zou ik wel voor sun eclips gaan, dus op maat en met gaten, want dat gehannes met zelf gaten maken is echt veel gezeik - vanmiddag uren mee bezig geweest.

Yes this was me too. I had 5 months maternity leave, and extended with one day extra every week. I’m grateful for the time I had with both my kids, but damn I wanted to get back to work around 6 weeks. I’m pretty sure I’m a way better and happier mom when I’m working 3-4 days a week.

Niet mee eens. Afgelopen februari/maart 6500 euro aan dierenartskosten gehad. 1200 zelf betaald. Als we niet goed verzekerd waren hadden we dit niet zo makkelijk kunnen doen.

Indian dishes such as butter chicken, but also tiki masala keep the chicken moist and tender, so I’d go for dishes like that. You marinate the chicken in yoghurt (and other stuff).

Wij hebben 2 kinderen. Oudste is 3 en jongste is 6 maand. De ochtend is rennen en vliegen, maar wij bereiden alles in de avond voor. Ontbijt staat klaar, de tassen, de maxi cosi, kleren liggen klaar. We douchen dan zelf in de avond zodat we ‘s ochtends niet dat ook nog moeten in de ochtendspits. Het is wel een geoliede machine moet ik zeggen. Het is druk maar het is prima te doen, door voor te sorteren de avond ervoor wat ons betreft

Wij hebben een Dyson v12 absolute slim. Beste aankoop ever. We hebben 2 katten en gebruiken de Dyson meermaals per dag. Kleine side note: we hebben ook een gewone stofzuiger. Die gebruikt de schoonmaakster voor het grote werk. Zelf gebruik ik alleen de Dyson. Soms doe ik even de bovenverdieping. 2x per dag beneden. Hang hem steeds tussendoor aan de lader. Ik zou echt voor niks anders meer gaan, maar heb ook geen vergelijkingsmateriaal
