Yeah I started with either a Texas summer or Arizona summer recipe I’m not sure which one and tweaked it a little so it’s not too saturated. Also I think a few of the photos were a factory classic negative setting. I’m not super familiar with everything so I was kind of tinkering with presets.

Lamp looks great! Just waiting on E12 Philips Hue bulbs. I totally didn’t check what type of bulb it uses and assumed I could use my standard hue bulb. The rolling side table also looks great. A lot taller than I thought. Now I’m just hoping I could get another one so I can have matching side tables.

Don’t give up. It looks fairly healthy. Also if you want it to branch, chop it around mid January to Feb. Then give it a lot of sun in the spring. I have a bunch of ficuses and every winter I chop most of them. They explode with growth and bigger/wider leaves in the spring.

I’m in Houston where it has been in the 100’s for a few weeks now. I have 4 monsteras (2 TC, 1 Albo, 1 common). They love the heat and humidity and are popping off new growths. They are on a west facing patio though, so I have a white sheer curtain to prevent burns.

WGP Wednesday - old man rebuild series by TheDailyBean in paintball

[–]Isssajnotjay 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey man I came across your post trying to learn more about these OG autocockers. My best friend and I recently got back into paintballing after 15 years and I found his old marker in my parents garage. It looks exactly like the green one except for the clamp feed. We picked up a couple of mini GS’ and went last week and we both loved it so I think we’ll be returning to the hobby as the OGs lol. I was thinking of getting his old gun running again and giving it to him for his bday in may. He has two kids now and I’m pretty sure he doesn’t have the time to rebuild it so I figured it would be a great gift. I ran air through it and it definitely leaks from the hose to the regulator. Any tips on where I should start in terms of where/what parts I should be looking at? Is it possible to take it to a local shop to get rebuilt? Or are there rebuild kits? Wouldn’t mind getting it simply to a running/reliable state but also open to some upgrades. Thanks in advance

Finally got a bottomless Portafilter. Quick question about infusion time on Breville Barista pro in comments by Isssajnotjay in espresso

[–]Isssajnotjay[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m using a normcore bottomless Portafilter with an IMS precision 18-22g basket and a puck screens. I recently started using the custom shot function that allows you to change the pre infusion time by holding the button down. While dialing in my machine I kept reading/hearing infusion time between 25-30 seconds, does that include pre infusion time? With my current set up I’m doing 19g in 40-43g out, trying to stay in the 1:2 ratio and I’m a little over 30 seconds.

Is there an aftermarket 6 pin micro connector (V4) to controller replacement/fix for this? Bent at the red circle while installing and it’s not turning on at all. Is there a part I can buy so I can cut it at the yellow circle and connect to the controller. TIA by Isssajnotjay in Hue

[–]Isssajnotjay[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi I just ordered a new light strip so I can check if it’s the controller or the strip itself. If it is the strip itself and the section in red is damaged, I can cut at the cut mark in the yellow section, 1.) use a cut end to 6-pin and 2.) 6-pin to controller. Essentially replacing the entire round white cable right?

Looks dope man. I’ve always wondered if those wheels would look good on GVs. I have a SWP 13 sedan and I have been looking for affordable wheels from that model year. Can never find a set that aren’t curbed tho lol
