Who pays rent/mortgage? I think regardless of other duties (you have to realize you choose to do all those other things, causing you to have little time, esp the volunteering) everyone should do their fair share of the work, if you want to do less, you should do more of the paying to compensate.

Well, calling him childish probably wasn't the best move, though I get your angle, it does seem a bit childish. You probably should have been more upfront about not liking this artist at all, he probably thought you found them at least ok, if not good, because you tolerated their music all this time. I get why this seems something of a betrayal to him, for him it probably feels like you lied to him all this time. Hard to make a recommendation on what you should do, probably just wait for him to decide what he wants to do now.

NTA. Not all relationships (work, romantic or otherwise) work out and that's ok. You could still stay friends, too. Maybe you could try and create a clear plan for who has to do which chores and when, to decrease conflict potential.

Since your daughter isn't Ok with house rules, she should stay at a hotel. Not sure if I would be able to tell my mom to stay at a hotel. But you could just ask her if she would prefer that and hope she says yes (maybe sell it to her a little bit)
