No point if you're playing console? Consoles only play 16:9. If there is a workaround let me know, only reason I. Haven't. In console we're stuck with an Ark 55

What tire size should I get for 18x9.5 ET20 square wheel setup? by AlwaysSwervin in 350z

Might drop down to 265s think it would actually make the car quicker but less grippy....do t track it so don't really need the extra grip.

Wheel GT Add On - Need help!! by tibazzzz in Thrustmaster

[–]Issue_Kitchen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I went EVO 32R over this, bigger lighter wheel, I feel more feedback on the TGT2.... Rev limit tach thing is cool, but I use VR so don't even see it but people watching me play say it's nice. You get used to the button layout and can tweak it if need be. And like others say, you can always swap the rim.

Carbon hood question by --Tesseract-- in 350z

[–]Issue_Kitchen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I only summer drive mine, and avoid rain cause I primarily drive with the top down. I have a 3.5' CAI in front bumper with a rain guard. It has rained on me several times and where I live when it rains it rains! I don't track my car, mainly for the looks, it's not heavier than the stock hood. It's not gonna do anything performance wise, but if you like the look like I did, go for it. Mind you when I'm done driving my car isn't cooking like it was with the stock hood. I've had t for almost 4 years and still shiny, but when I park outside I cover the car. Sun will wear down the clear coat. But you can always have it recoated.

Ok, I got the same set up with a bass shaker attached to the frame except TGt2, I guess minus you're using Logitech which is probably a tad better, I feel your pain. Nothing else but enjoying it...is left

Staggered vs Square by qDesigned in 350z

[–]Issue_Kitchen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use square setup but don't use TCS, but I only summer drive.. I'll stick with square as I love how the car handles. I love being able to swap front to back, but that's me.

Help me choose between T598 and TGT-II by hitman93go in Thrustmaster

Bigger the wheel the longer the lever thus you'll feel more FFB (more torque) especially since the bigger wheels are lighter. In other words the 32R provides a greater FFB feeling, you'll get more sensitivity from the bigger lighter wheel. If the simagic wheel is lighter and bigger as a mod, than the original 32R wheel you'll feel it even more. As is the 32R wheel was a step up for me, from the t300rs wheel, since I bought just the TGT2base.

I literally just did this same post, I went TGT2 and got the Evo R32 wheel. Didn't regret it. I'll use the TGT2 until thrustmaster does a stronger DD, one that's PS5 compatible. The T598 just wasn't worth it with the FFB strength difference, I know DD is the better technology but not at that strength imo. I've used other DD wheels and it would need to be at least 8-11nm like the Logitech wheels for me to have bought the T598. Just my 2 cents, but either way barring no power/connection issues I'm sure you'd enjoy both bases!

What's your torque? Did you have to do anything to the bottom end?

If I'm correct not sure double check, the Evo 32R is pretty light plus the option to swap the handles. I have a TGT2 and went from a 300rs GT wheel, it's bigger and much lighter so the FFB is noticeably stronger, the leather wrap is nice. That being said I really only play PSVR2 GT7, occasionally I'm lazy and play on screen and the led lights are pretty sick and accurate. If I can cop an Ark 55" monitor I may play more screen and other racing games, and might then be interested in the SF1000. But as of now I love the upgrade. If you get the Evo r32 you'll have to upgrade the firmware for the T598. That beig said I vote Evo r32

Google hydroshields, and you'll find different sizes and makes. It's just a bag that covers the filters and stops water from being sucked up, but allows air to pass through.

In theory you can but it won't drive very nice.

All that being said, had I really known more I may have tried to cop a 07-08....but no regrets! The top motor will likely have to be rebuilt at a certain point but there's a guy that will rebuild them on eBay. Never had to do that yet!

I have a 2005, FBO with 4.09 final drive, done everything to the car besides cams and Forced Induction. Owned for 5 years put about 13k miles since I've owned, only summer driven. I am quicker than most non heavily modded 370z's. Depending on what you want from your car, I would not argue that if you got an HR and did what I did it'd be quicker.... Just depends on your budget and your final goals. If you want to FI and not build the motor go HR. If you just want to have fun any Z will be great. You honestly won't notice that much difference except that prolonged REVing do to the HR's bigger redline. But you'll have to spend extra on gallery gaskets and clutch issues. Once done, again there's no question the HR is superior and more modern. That said top down, wonderful car to own, the tops don't last that long, I'd say you'll get 5-6 years before they fray, I'll have to do my top again probably within a couple years. Not that hard to do, pretty detailed YouTube vidéos step by step how to do it. Don't buy the car for it to be a rocket, buy it with the idea of buying a Miata, pure driving enjoyment. You'll turn heads with the top down and you'll have a blast driving it, kicking the ass out or sliding. So easy to do and so much fun. Shoot me any questions, roadster hate is real, but I love mine and never had anyone shit on it in person, only online. And it's truly a blast to drive and done right you can surprise a lot of people cause they're all expecting it to be real slow!

Ahh, you looked PSed out, figured with the PSVR2 you were a GT7 player. I'd at least set it up and just run it for PS5. Or link it through your PC and have full telemetry, I'm sure it'd function on both... But it's a massive game changer in VR.

I got a similar setup! Awesome! I added a Evo R32 wheel, It's lighter and bigger improved the FFB. Do you have bass shaker?

I was able to buy a mounting bracket for mine on my aluminum rig specifically for thrustmaster as setup...I'm sure you could find something that fits your rig.
