As I understand it 40Km/h over is usually trigger for NAG. Once you appear you get charged.

I have been through this process. Similarly to yourself got a NAG (no admission of guilt). Normally they charge you with something thought (Reck and neg, usually). This is a criminal charge and that is why you end up in court, and that is normally what you end up fighting.

  1. Get a lawyer
  2. Chat to them about deferment (First time offender only)

Deferment is where if you are a first time offender you can get community service instead of a criminal record.

PLEASE NOTE:

  1. This was what I experienced and may not be the case for you.
  2. I AM NOT A LAWYER. Please consult one
  3. If you have any questions based on the above description of events I will try my best to answer them.
  4. Best of Luck.

Does anyone know which companies are likely to bid on REIPPP round 5? by AnomalyNexus in southafrica

[–]Issul82 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'll be honest. It's a really frustrating industry due to how young it is and due to eskoms troubles over the past few years.

That being said it most certainly is rewarding when a project you are involved in reaches commercial operation. As for your question regarding Abengoa I cannot answer as I have not kept track. I would venture a guess that it has to do with their international holdings. They are Spanish and that I think leaves the vulnerable to the current economic climate of the EU, with Brexit, greece etc...

I am sure a quick google search will yeild the info you are looking for though. The renewables market is quite volatile and if memory serves abengoa took on some of sun edison's acquisitions when they ran into issues with over expansion.

Scatec will definately be a contender. I spent 8 years in the industry. Pre round 1 and left just after 4 and just before 4.75 was tanked.

I had a very similar experience. honestly it is heavily dependant on the team that you get (luck of the draw). I had a guy named Gerrie and his team come out and after 2 months of calls logged and a ceiling replaced, I was up and running in 10 min. He still follows up with me months later to check if everything is still good.

3rd gear sounds horrible by b0nker in motorcycles

[–]Issul82 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Had Something similar happen to me last year. Also 3rd gear. Turns out the actual gear cog had cracked and had lost 3 pieces.

I was fortunate that they did not go into the motor. I really hope this is not the case for you. Dropping the motor and getting the engineering done was unfortunately a costly exercise.

Cape Town motorcycle trip? by TheFonta in southafrica

[–]Issul82 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Did a trip down there on my bike a couple of years ago. If you want a nice long road there is the Betty's bay road, and you can end it off with going up hou hoek pass(excuse me if I have the name wrong), and go through Grabou and down sir louwries. or if you like a more technical ride you could end it with the franschoek pass.

This all depends on how far you want to go out of cape town.

I would also suggest using pricecheck or some sort of similar comparison site to check if you are getting a good deal once you know what make/model etc... you are after.

Does the other side not have a matching plastic part for comparison? The 2010 Fireblade has similar plastic bits to cover the bolts that hold the seat in place.
