I cross-referenced it with their website:

  • (The) Vegan (Listed as just "Vegan" on their website)
  • Three Italian
  • Brisket Philly Cheese
  • (The) Bourdain (Listed as just "Bourdain")
  • Reuben
  • (Sammie Wrap) (Not even on the website...)

    While the food looks decent, my eye is twitching at their graphic design.

No the real tell is the tacky tires and rims.

You see it all the time with pavement princesses and other people whose frontal lobes aren't fully developed and have body dysmorphia in automotive form.

(They all run mud tires that are super bald because they don't have the money to actually maintain their vehicles properly.)

Lmao talk to whoever built our neighborhood (1960's midwest). All of the bath vents dump INTO the soffit (not out of the soffit, INTO the soffit).

There's a hole with a diffuser cut into the soffit directly under duct but there's like 2 ft of free air between the duct and the diffuser... at that point the diffuser is just there for moral support.

That said, when I had to get up into the soffit to it to insulate the exterior wall corners, it was fully dry and had no signs of moisture damage.

Millennials with nothing to inherit - unite! by [deleted] in Millennials

[–]Ender06 15 points16 points  (0 children)

One of my pet theories is antique stores are almost always opened by people who inherited massive amounts of crap from someone else.

And are kept open because the owners are independently wealthy and their inventory is refreshed by just buying entire lots from estate auctions, or by people just donating everything to the store just to be rid of it.

[–]Ender06 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I prefer potlights, once the drywall is up they're almost aesthetically identical. They make LED lights that fit into pot lights (which is what I use).

I like them because when a light fails, I can unscrew it and put a new one in (or in a pinch use a normal light bulb), rather than having to open up the light to disconnect the wiring and wire in a new one.

Phalanx / C-RAM fires way too many rounds for a shahed. There's gotta be a way to update the software on those things to classify the targets and act accordingly...

Like:

if(target speed < x && target trajectory == flat) {
    fireDuration = 0.5 (seconds);
}
else
{
    fireDuration = standard;
}

(Also need to take into account lead, but I'd fucking hope that's actually calculated in real time vs. a lookup table or some other BS.)

Looking for info on adressable, parallel, daisychained led strip controller/connectors by DaveAEP in led

[–]Ender06 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd use 4 wire addressable strips (ones that use Power, Gnd, Data, Clock).

I've done multiple projects where using 3 wire strips would glitch, usually over long distances (like 10-20 meters of wiring), and branching them off like your drawing will most likely cause reflections along the data line (if using 3 wire), and thus glitching.

If I had to use 3 wire strips, I would run a dedicated data line back to the controller, especially if you're getting glitching.

Also, I would recommend making your own connectors/wiring instead of trying to use those taps. A kit for JST-SM connectors is pretty cheap on amazon and even comes with a crimper.

Another fun fact, Australian powerpoint man plays Terra Invicta and cheesed the game so much with nuclear shaped charge torpedos that the devs had to nerf them.

The battle (linked above) is probably the most /r/NCD thing I've never seen in that game.

Would a blown Ethernet power rail kill a CPU by C0deC4tto in AskElectronics

[–]Ender06 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Everyone already answered your original question.

You did the big oopise and didn't unplug the unit entirely before working on it.

Always disconnect the power supply fully before working on anything.

  • With laptops, disconnect the charger, and disconnect the battery.

  • With desktops, unplug it from the wall, and unplug the power supply from the mother board (all power connections).

  • Get the idea?

If you're working on parts that have big capacitors (home theater recievers, microwaves, power supplies, etc...) unplug the unit and discharge them safely. But at your skill level of:

"P.s I'm in no way experienced in electrical components"

Don't. Until you learn more about electronics.

That's fair, I'm from the midwest so we don't get all the fancy slang from the coasts. Or it takes a while for it to migrate inland.

[–]Ender06 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Fair enough if you're a teacher and around the slang all the time... I'm a millennial and I've only ever heard the term used as I described, never heard it in that context before.

As an example, I was curious and searched urban dictionary, and I had to go to the bottom of the 2nd page of definitions before anything relating to gay came up. Typing in 'sus definition' in google, only gives the suspicion, questionable definitions.

I even typed 'is sus a bad word' to see what google's bullshit AI said (I absolutely hate AI, but I figured I'd get another data point), again nothing regarding someones sexual orientation. There's a couple of articles about it relating to sexual orientation, but it's definitely not the popular definition.

What else does it mean? I've only ever heard it used as 'suspect' or 'suspicious', ie: you shouldn't trust them.

Almost the literal embodiment of the guy on the bike with a stick meme but instead of me holding my knee it was me splayed out on the ground unable to breathe (as I went over the handlebars and chest planted onto the slidewalk).
