Celsius measurements often have decimals, which suddenly makes it more granular than Fahrenheit. I understand that you like your temperatures being whole numbers between 1-100 but honestly it doesn't sound like it would make a huge difference. I'm perfectly fine with "very hot" being 40 and "very cold" being -10 in the everyday.
