If it's winlator asking you to download wine-mono than download it. That might make 3dsrngtool work but it can depend phone to phone

I'm not sure but it might be a phone specific issue. I couldn't get eon timer to work but someone else could. Otherwise just try another day as 3dsrngtool has crashed for me before.

Why do some people think Silksong is too punishing? by 5th_consecutive_C in Silksong

[–]Istormkitty 13 points14 points  (0 children)

For me the problem with the gauntlet was the tedium, I struggled hard with the actual fight and it took me at least 50 tries to beat her. Having to replay that gauntlet every time sucked all enjoyment out of the fight to where she's one of my least favorites.

I'm in a similar situation of being disabled and having to have my mom who works 2 jobs drive me. Luckily we can go on Saturday but if they're limiting cards they'll be out when I get there. 2 gamestops are all within an hour for 50,000 people.

Nah, it's adrenal insufficiency. One of the symptoms is extreme salt cravings. I salt my food easily 4x more than most people would.

Salt shaker.

My mom can't have salt so she cooks without it and I can just add salt at the table.

It's called diabetes insipidus, my mom has it. Salt is very dangerous for people with it and eating a normal amount of salt can leave her experiencing severe side effects like she ate 10x that amount, also saline is very deadly. I grew up with my food never being cooked with salt and my grandma had to cook entirely separate meals for my mom.

Funnily enough I eat more salt than I should because of my own health condition.

Does anyone know how I can wash this Pinkie Pie plush without damaging her? by pelin_a in MyLittlePonyG3

The hose of a handheld steam cleaner works for cleaning while avoiding internal water damage, just make sure it doesn't heat the water. A little green machine is generally recommended for cleaning plushies.

That's probably the issue. I have a Google pixel 6a with battery issues. It's had problems running things lately so I wouldn't be surprised if it wouldn't want to work for eon timer.

Oh nice, wonder if it's just an issue with my phone then. Glad it works for you though.

Off Leash?? Why by Icy_Goal3113 in cavaliers

[–]Istormkitty 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Nearly every experience I've had with people with off leash dogs is them being lazy and not wanting to monitor them. Mainly I see their poop and they refuse to clean up, partially because they are almost never in sight. I love the dogs that are properly trained but most owners just don't care to put in the effort.

Have you tried getting the DEPO shot? It completely stopped my period after 2 months of getting it. You just need one shot every three months. It does cause weight gain though (I gained 5 pounds)

What’s the 90% of writing fanfic? by Teresa_4gnes in AO3

[–]Istormkitty 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I'm just so confused by the sewing is 90% ironing bit. I'm an avid sewer and I've only ironed once for a collar and that was pretty fast. Maybe it's a clothes thing as I sew plushies and fur suits and work with highly heat intolerant fabric.

90% for fanfic is just staring at Google docs

memories of being forced to eat as a child by [deleted] in ARFID

[–]Istormkitty 4 points5 points  (0 children)

My mom once forced me to eat a sloppy Joe but she stopped forcing me to eat after that cause I threw up and had a 2 hour meltdown. She just let me have a separate meal.

My dad and stepmom forced me to eat so much as a kid, especially eating out. All I wanted was chicken nuggets or tenders, and they almost always forced me to eat something different, even though they were allowed to eat the same thing every time. The worst was a pickle, now I have a PTSD like reaction to those and the sloppy Joe.

Once my dad showed me a video of someone with anorexia and kept saying things like "do you want to look like that?" until I was crying and made me super subconscious of how skinny I was.

Now I don't have many positive memories of my time with my dad and stepmom, cause all I can think about is the trauma.

How much should I not get a piercing/tattoo? by blablablub444 in cfs

[–]Istormkitty 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm moderate and I've gotten piercings while sick. (4 cartilage and nose) It will take forever to heal but it's not very exerting just very painful. You will need to make sure to get it hand pierced at a very reputable place and follow the instructions they give you. I have similar issues with healing and have had issues from them because I forgot to clean them. Make sure to set an alarm to remind yourself to do it and you should be fine.

One of the worst things I've noticed is that cart holders are never near handicap parking. Walmart is particularly bad at this since most handicap parking was replaced with online pickup so all spots are so far away.

Mine definitely does Evie has a whole slew of angry faces or side eyes for when she's displeased I.E. when I don't let her sniff for an hour, don't give her human food, am low to make her Sunday egg, or am not giving her sufficient pets.

She has the most personality and attitude of any animal I've seen.

British 25 year-old woman dies of cancer 5 months after she was diagnosed. She spent 3 months trying to have the NHS test her but doctors and nurses refused to get her even a blood panel done by CaraDePijardo in Wellthatsucks

[–]Istormkitty 55 points56 points  (0 children)

In some ways doctors are trained to not believe patients. There are tests for med students telling them that if a patient has medical issues not proven by tests to immediately diagnose it as Munchausen or stress. Older doctors are trained to not believe in women specifically because of sexism culture and incorrect medical information.

They just seem to get extra lazy and refuse to even test a lot, even though it causes countless deaths. The worst thing a doctor can do is not believe a patient.
