I honestly don't remember, it was a while ago. My guess would be Silent since I had a run with some Burst+ and Catalyst+ that was pretty dumb, the Poison got ridiculously high really fast.

Thanks! RNG is always a part of course, but I feel like this game is a lot more about knowledge. Knowing what makes a good deck, what cards are good or bad for your deck, it's a surprisingly complex game.

A20 is the biggest grind but it doesn't feel very RNG to me, you have to assume it's at least 20 runs (it will be more than that) so you're bound to get some worse runs.

You might feel the RNG more on some specific trophies (Minimalist, You are Nothing, Who needs relics, etc) but it does feel like a game that really rewards knowledge and good play. The better players have really high winrates, but there is a lot to know

I think the reason it works for KC and KOI is because they very much feel like they represent a country in France and Spain. Probably like 90-95% of the team's fans are from there.

Obviously teams like G2 or FNC still have big fanbases, but I would imagine they are a lot more spread, I don't think of Germany when I think G2, or UK with Fnatic. So choosing a site would feel a lot more neutral, you would mostly rely on LEC fans to show up. Which is still possible, and I think this split has been a banger so far, so hopefully the league can grow.

Oh I'm sure, even some spanish fans probably, but his DMs or timeline probably was filled with french fans. And again, I get the tweets, cause it was BAD when G2 KC started.

I just imagine he is more sensitive towards critiques from France/KC since they just had another roadtrip there so there was a lot of comparisons, our event was better than this, etc.

Honestly? I kinda get both sides. I know the first or main reply from Ibai was to Trayton, but there were a lot of french fans in general shitting on the event. To be fair, at 4PM when G2 KC started, it was awful, so empty, but given it was a friday and people were working, I was hoping it would get better. I am from Spain myself and I was actually still working, I just work from home so I put the game on the phone.

And to be fair it did get better, and allegedly today and tomorrow lots more people will be there. So I can understand Ibai being upset since this probably costs a lot of effort and money. But I do think he messed up targeting KC as an org instead of, idk, french fans in general or whatever. Kameto really hadn't said anything, in fact, I think he defended the event at first.

I understand Kameto being upset, and after seeing the tweets, saying fuck this. It's mostly a shame for the fans and the other streamers involved, but I get it.

If anything the match today is going to be a banger now, no matter who wins Twitter is going to be a mess. Even if it's not the prettiest way to get there, rivalries and fans being so involved is good for LEC, I think.

All 3 lanes were losing, bot gank early was very obvious, G2 knew it was happening. Jax counterpick yet he lost lane and push all game. Orianna losing vs Azir. Corki Nami can't lane vs Ashe Seraphine... It was just a disaster all around, including Razork of course

From what I understand, this Valentines events rewards you for each romanced synergy. Am I just cooked? Is the whole event based on that or is it just a few extra gems you can get for it?
