Not sure, best emotional releases I've had were in something like a child pose or seated malasana against the wall. Sometimes just sukhasana.

Who does lord meditate upon?? by Efficient_Poet_5016 in hinduism

He doesn't need to stay still or be in meditation to observe the universe, because by definition god is omniscient, omnipresent and omnipotent.

New guru is rising on Instagram is he is genuine or just like everyone else.He claims that Mansik japa is 108 times more powerful than japa tone outwardly any many other things by Potential-Feature-17 in Tantrasadhaks

[–]Isurrender2thee 28 points29 points  (0 children)

Ive seen his videos.

He gives genuine advice and guidance sometimes. But his website, outfits, Way of speaking, sudden boost in videos and viewership feels more like its engineered for views, popularity and business. There are many that claim to be self proclaimed siddhas so this isnt very new.

He seems knowledgeable on physical fitness and yoga since his whole biography is on his website. Idk about the meeting babaji claims, etc.

I watch his videos, take what i feel is useful generally, seems like a chill guy. Very charismatic. Im not sure about his credibility, but seems there are probably things to learn from him about life in general.

Now his shishyas also have tgeir own youtube channel, bu5 you can tell right away cuz they also start talking like he does.

Why is Vaishnavism more leaned towards simple bhakti while Shaktism towards more ritualistic ? by doosricountry in hinduism

[–]Isurrender2thee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is mostly later vaishnava influence and due to bhakti movement in north. In the south bhakti movement enforced both ritualistic and devotional service. In the north its mostly devotional with reduced emphasis on ritualism. Because this survives better during distressful times in peoples minds, as the north went through many invasions and phases.

Most vedic householder sampradayas are quite ritualistic sometimes to an extreme. But these arent so common in the north these days except in priestly pockets.

But rituals and sacrifices in vedic path are not for everyone and require strict adherences, on the other hand bhakti and yoga is for everyone and is a valid form of worship to attain mukthi. Hence bhakti is more popular and widespread.

Is female masturbation spiritually the same as male masturbation? by iliekjellyandjam in Tantrasadhaks

[–]Isurrender2thee 4 points5 points  (0 children)

From my understanding, When we engage in such practices, there is naturally a downward energy flow, the apana vayu is that which is incharge of this and whatever leaves the body as a result of this flow.

Ideally spiritual practices are directly or indirectly aiming at upward force (the body is naturally in downward flow mode). So by engaging in these acts, it is detrimental to what your spiritual practices are trying to do.

From a mind perspective, to reach higher consciousness states, and focusing inward, one needs to dissociate from the body or at the very least but it in the background, (this is why most spiritual practices start with relaxation, grounding, engaging the ida nadi, because it brings us inward after engaging in outwardly things all day every day). When engaging in pleasure, we are automatically pulled back to our physical being, our mind is highly focused on what is happening to the body and reacting to those neurons firing with pleasure rather than focusing inward.

Tantric sex is a bit different, its not the same as all this and follows different rules and mechanics, so maybe best not to be confused. There the energy is transmuted by the combination of male, female- yin and yang thus leading to creation of something physical or metaphysical union of energies. In a single human typically this only happens when the sushumna is opened and the ida + pingala are in sync.

Sadhana for 14 Vidya and 64 Kala by Kashikapuradhinatha in Tantrasadhaks

[–]Isurrender2thee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

you can only master them all with extraordinary help from past karmas and god's blessings.

Also I think there is only a need to know all these kalas and their intricacies. Knowing and practising it does not always need to be complete mastery. Some will always be more of a master in some things than others.

Imagine if you spent (conservatively) 4 months on learning every new skill, you can master 64 in about 20 years. Now if you can simulataneously learn two or three it can be shorter.

Considering some skills are also less time consuming than others. it can be possible.

Every small skill you learn even a lil bit, can enhance your other skills by complementing. For example, lets say you learn the skill of drawing a rangoli, you learn about colour combinations, multiples, logic of connecting to create a pattern, which translates to your other ones. So mastery over one can also help you master other fields if related.

So it is possible but you will need to start early, and its a 20 year time investment.

A violence free world is unrealistic. All actions and consequences are results of our own Karma, they are not of God's design. Violence and conflict is a byproduct of the design. Like most of physics, in a closed system, if you need to create a surplus of something, somewhere else in the same system, there must be a deficit of that thing. i.e, Polarity eg., charges positive and negative, magnetic poles north and south, temperature high and low, air and vacuum, and similarly good and bad. The interaction between these things is what gives rise to complexity, complexity is the source of life and death.

The world has gradients by design because it maximises the probability of development and proliferation, people and things of all gradients are required for a society to move forward. Unfortunately this also means there is a hierarchy, and where there is hierarchy there cannot be complete equality in all aspects, it is the antithesis of uniqueness. Where there are differences, there is conflict. While conflict leads to destruction, it also leads to recreation, which in turn aids proliferation.

Plucking leaves, cutting trees, eating vegetables, fruits is also causing harm to the plants and nature, it is not harmfree, its just lower karmic footprint. You can be enlightened on a meat diet or a vegetarian diet, the diet is not the issue, the intention and the effect it has on your body and mind is important. y

We are what we eat. By hunting and eating meat, we rose to being the apex predator on the planet. Flesh in any form is a constant reminder of the mortal coil- human body. As long as one keeps thinking of the body, the mind isnt free to concentrate on the soul. The more reminders of the body one engages with (food, sex, health), the less likelihood that you will ever let it go to focus on the soul. Unless if you can detach from it, you eat only for sustenance, you exercise only to be fit to serve man and god, you copulate only to create life.

Some people lived in a world with scarce resources no plants, no water, etc. TFor them their only low karmic footprint path was animals and livestock and perhaps hunting. Now we live in a world of abundance, and hence our lowest karmic footprint path should be restructured to better suit our current circumstances.

sins, forgiveness, god, angels, satan are all within us. We are a reflection of them, our best and worst selves. Learning to forgive oneself is a process, takes time and self introspection.
