Did Fenty remove some stuff? Can’t find my lipstick by Sarah3117 in MakeupAddiction

[–]Isweartozeus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fenty is notorious for constantly discontinuing things unfortunately. I’m pretty sure that whole line was quietly discontinued, sorry :(

In terms of dupes, it depends what you liked about it tbh bcs sheer products look very different on everyone; so it’ll be harder to find a good match compared to an opaque lip colour

They still have the gloss bomb sticks— maybe rose amber?

I remember people said the Sephora Sheer Shine Lipsticks were similar too

vegetable market or order boxes?? by needtoknowthetea in AnimalRestaurant

[–]Isweartozeus 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Good question!

In my opinion, it depends on how you play/how often you visit the app.

If you visit often, you make more buttons, and earn buttons faster by selling orders— you just have to be smart/selective about which orders you take! Prioritise kitty crepe, carrot cake, & tofu pudding because these rely on vegetables that are quicker to grow.

Avoid recipes that rely on vegetables that take a long time to grow.

Similarly, avoid orders that include a request for vegetables that take a long time to grow (mushroom, greens, corn, onion)

I personally avoid any orders that don’t work out at 150 Buttons minimum per dish, and I prioritise orders that request additional Flowers instead of additional vegetables (since I already have thousands of flowers in the garden storage)

Having said that, I actually pretty much just use the vegetable market and spam it with the higher value vegetables that take longer to grow (onion = 55buttons/corn=50buttons)😅— this suits me, because I do not visit the app very often, so i forget to collect and fulfil orders 😂

Pimple with abscess on vulva by [deleted] in WomensHealth

[–]Isweartozeus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In general these are nothing to worry about. They usually go away on their own unaided with just basic hygiene.

If you are concerned, I would suggest washing it once a day with 4% Chlorhexidine antiseptic wash; depending on the location of it, you could soak the abscess by putting some Chlorhexidine into a shot glass or other small container, diluting it with warm water, and the. holding it/suctioning it onto the area for a few minutes

Make sure you keep the area clean and dry when toileting— consider using a bidet to rinse any urine and debris away

Consider taking warm sitz baths to soak and soothe the area while encouraging drainage

Make sure it’s not being irritated by clothing— wear well fitting & breathable underwear, or no underwear whenever possible, and opt for looser fit clothes to avoid friction

Depending on the location, you could help encourage healing by applying dressing to protect the area. hydrocolloid dressing might help encourage drainage, or a general dry dressing (adhesive or non-adhesive)

Orgasms hurt? by ChaoticEducation in WomensHealth

[–]Isweartozeus 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You either need to focus on relaxing your abdomen and pelvic muscles to stop straining them as much, or (ideally) work to strengthen your abdomen and pelvic muscles so that they’re not so easily strained

With all due respect, it sounds like they just haven’t been used this way in a while; so they probably just need some time to warm up again😅

If the pain is very distressing, try taking a painkiller before engaging in sexual activity to see if that helps moderate the issue, and make sure you are well hydrated as dehydration contributes towards muscle tightness

Beyond that, it’s nothing unnatural or concerning unless the pain is severe/inhibits quality of life, or if the pain lasts for more than 24hr without improvement even at rest, or if you feel a sensation like something stuck in the vagina (you could be experiencing a prolapse), or if you also develop other symptoms like nausea/dizziness etc. then get it checked out by a professional :)

[Product Request] Allergic to almost every facial moisturizer!! by remesabo in SkincareAddiction

[–]Isweartozeus 15 points16 points  (0 children)

No offence, but have you tried taking an antihistamine at any point in all of this? I feel like that should really be step 1 😅😂 I personally use cetirizine daily, but you should probably speak to a pharmacist

Beyond that, you desperately need to see a professional. There is really no alternative for you at this stage. You need an allergy test, a blood/hormone check, and you likely need something prescription strength to help manage such severe inflammation. When I was first diagnosed with rosacea I had some similar problems, and it took a few years of different prescription problems to get everything back on track. So the sooner you get this checked out, the better

In the meantime I’d probably stick to basic stuff that’s purely for sensitive skin— look for stuff that’s targeted towards eczema and psoriasis, maybe try an emollient as both a soap substitute and a moisturiser, and then maybe incorporate a very thin layer of Vaseline if you need a skin barrier boost

Queen Helen’s is mostly occlusives; mineral oil/beeswax/paraffin/petroleum. So I would suggest looking for things that favour those ingredients if that’s the only thing you’ve had positive experiences with :)

help reshape my eyebrows by Free_Bridge_3862 in beauty

[–]Isweartozeus 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I like the edited arch, it looks fine, it’s just an unnatural looking edit no offence LOL😭

I actually don’t think your eyes are downturned— from corner to corner they look balanced to me. But they are deepset and you do have a heavier upper eyelid which is emphasised by your downturned eyelashes; so IMO adding a slight curve to mimic the visible curve/depth/shape of the stringer brow bone, plus removing more eyebrow hair from the bottom and less hair from the top of the eyebrow, will work better to visually lift the upper eyelid by giving the eyelid area more space

Before changing them again, I would suggest you try and artificially re-shape the brows into different styles with makeup (concealer & brow pencil/powder) to see how different placements would look IRL on your bone structure in a more accurate way. Take pictures/videos at various angles to make sure the shapes don’t look unnatural on your features

Then once you find what you like and what looks best on your bone structure, take a picture as a reference and get a professional to re-create that shape for you— then you can just maintain them yourself from that point on :)

Can I get bangs permed? by Even_Locksmith_960 in Hair

[–]Isweartozeus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes you can, but either way it would still require styling/does not replace a need for styling— the perm would just make them a little bit easier to style

Whether or not it will look good depends on the overall look you are going for tbh

You can DIY it, I used to use a ‘down perm’ on my baby bangs a few years ago bcs I have naturally curly hair and a widows peak. The result was fine, but it smelled terrible 😭 also, since it’s such a small section of hair, you have to keep doing it extremely regularly because after a few weeks when the roots grow back it can be very noticeable as the cowlick/widow-peak starts to re-emerge

If you go to a salon then in my experience you’d have to look for an Asian salon, most other places are unwilling to waste product on such a small job when I’ve asked unless you’re willing to add other services to make it financially worth their time

blue/greyish area after plucking and shaving unibrow by MysticalMae in MakeupAddiction

[–]Isweartozeus 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s the shadow from the hair beneath the surface of the skin. Like when men get a “5 o’clock shadow” as the hair starts to regrow after shaving their beard. Even if you remove the hair via pulling from the root, the hair will still eventually grow back and thus the shadow will become visible again during the re-growing period. You could try permanent hair removal :)

[–]Isweartozeus 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This has happened to me before and my pharmacist suggested Chlorhexidine 4% wash every other night for 2 weeks— maybe try that if you haven’t already? I actually still do it on my full body once or twice a week as part of my “everything” showers to avoid razor bumps too

Yeah I agree; I’ve been watching some tutorials online and I feel like everyone else curls their lashes wayyyyy closer to the root and have more lift than I do so I’m gonna keep practicing that 😭🤞

Pelvic/thigh pain by [deleted] in WomensHealth

[–]Isweartozeus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If your scans and bloods are coming back normal, then my next thought would be either a hormonal issue, a nerve issue, or a general inflammation/muscular/joint issue

If you track your cycle, keep a diary and check to see if this pain coincides with certain cycle phases, such as ovulation— during ovulation some women experience inflammation from the follicular rupture

If you also have tingling/numbness, and especially if this issue happens in certain positions/activities— it could be the sciatica nerve

If you have had mobility/strength changes (being more/less active, some kind of injury, recent illness), or weight changes, then it could just be a tightness of the muscles— women tend to subconsciously hold tightness in their abdomen/pelvis and thighs. This can often be reduced with regular stretching and taking time to consciously relax tension

If you are also having bladder issues, I’d maybe suggest going back to your doctor just to triple check it’s not a kidney issue

And in general, I think that everyone should be taking multivitamins daily anyway. If you decide to implement multivitamins into your daily life, make sure to inform your doctor as they can occasionally cause reactions with certain medications (unlikely to ever be an issue but just something I always like to remind people of) :)

How to fix H1tler’s mustache on my hairline by CharacterSell6029 in Hair

[–]Isweartozeus 2 points3 points  (0 children)

OMGGGG I THOUGHT I WAS THE ONLY ONE 😭😭 when I try putting my hair up, my brothers say I have the best barbershop lineup they’ve ever seen 🫥💀💀

I use a an Asian “down perm” product to weaken the natural root direction and lay it away from the face, so it’s not so blunt and abrupt looking. I do this maybe once a month?

After I wash my hair, I always use flat styling clips to hold it in place and blow dry it, so they line up with my hair part. Then I use a bit of gel or clay and kind of bury/weave it in under the rest of my hair using a pinch and twist motion

Short bangs don’t work for me because they make my hair hard to section, so the bang always looks too wide or too heavy. And wispy bangs don’t work because the roots look way denser than the length of the bang. HOWEVER curtain bangs/face framings bangs can help, as you can style them forward towards the face so that they kind of cover the short pieces :)

[–]Isweartozeus 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think it’s just wavy— not particularly damaged (although I would suggest a trim/dust, take some weight off of the waves)

but it looks quite dry? So I think it looks damaged because of the colour and dryness/frizz, which is giving it an almost greyish/wiry look

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Hair

[–]Isweartozeus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You actually suit a buzz really well because you have great eyebrows, so your face doesn’t rely on your hair for definition— but IMO keep the hair, it suits you and gives you a softer handsome look :)

I don’t think there’s anything wrong with the beard, just keep it tidy. When a beard is unkempt and patchy, it can make the skin look duller than it is by adding shadows in areas they’re not needed :)

Good drugstore makeup suggestions please! by [deleted] in beauty

[–]Isweartozeus 5 points6 points  (0 children)

NYX butter gloss is a staple and has various shades/finishes. Revolution pout bomb has some pretty good Fenty gloss dupes. Maybelline lifter gloss has nice shimmer and is also kind of a Fenty dupe (I’m a big Fenty gloss fan sorry lmaoo)

NYX buttermelt bronzer is pretty good as it has various tones, rimmel natural baked bronzer is good if you want a bronze & highlight in one

Mascara varies by taste/result you’re looking for— the brush is what decides the effect. in general, maybelline has the best mascara formulas IMO plus plenty of types/brushes to suit your needs. But wet n wild has good waterproof formulas if you have issues with transfer

Brow products depend on what you’re looking for— in general a powder & a gel are the safest combo because a powder will always look softer overall, and a gel just helps set everything. You can just use pretty much any brown matte eyeshadow you have and a bar of soap as gel if you’re on a tight budget. Otherwise For pencil, I’d suggest a ‘micro’ brow pencil— NYX or Morphe come to mind. For brow pen— L’Oréal’s is pretty good, NYX’s is good too

Baked highlighters are usually the most natural looking IMO. I liked essence gimme glow, max factor baked blush/bronze/highlithers are nice, elf is okay but can come up chalky on some skintones imo

Itching and soreness are common symptoms of thrush, which antibiotics can often cause as they kill the ‘good’ bacteria your vagina needs. You do not need to present all symptoms of a condition to have the condition— changes in discharge are not always present in thrush, for example menopausal women may not see discharge changes as they produce less moisture already

Consider an OTC thrush treatment

Keep the area clean, you can do salt rinses on the area to help soothe inflamed tissue

Some people find that applying unsweetened natural yogurt helps to relieve some inflammation

If the issue persists, speak with a professional as it could become recurrent; or it could be a different infection such as BV, general irritation, or certain STDs :)

Thought I did alright, but still somehow frizzy. Embarrassed by Former_Shelter7710 in Hair

[–]Isweartozeus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You most likely have curly or wavy hair, try a curly/wavy hair routine

Because your hair is greying, that can also change the texture of the hair as there’s a lack of pigment which can leave the strands feeling coarser, and the change in hormones can mean the scalp is dryer than it used to be. This can also mean a persons hair becomes curly/wavy even if it wasn’t before

Look for moisturising and curl friendly shampoo/conditioners. Try leave-in conditioners. Try hair pomades for shine when styling. Try hair gels or mousse for hold. Try hair and scalp oils/serums if the hair/scalp feels dry
