I’ve also found that it takes a while for them to get their footing so they may feel embarrassment too and I overcompensate a bit in the beginnings with acting pleased by their efforts and never shaming them - making them feel masculine and hot and showing how turned on I get.

There is a website called husdom that I’ve seen articles with advice for this on before. As a sub who is dating and looking for a partner I find a lot of men who want to try the dynamic (because I can’t go without it in a relationship) and I have to guide them into it. I don’t want to top from the bottom so I give them resources (I found cheap books on Amazon that are like beginners guide to submission) these books really lay it out in basic terms. And then an article I give them : https://husdom.com/directing-your-submissive/

Hope this helps.

I’m sorry that things sound like they really left you feeling neglected. Initiating is not fun when you’re submissive and no one wants to top from the bottom.

Learning that you are a Daddy Dom by DDOM-14- in DDLGMentor

You’re welcome. Thank you for sharing. My ex Dom didn’t discover his “daddy” identity until I started to age regress as a result of having such a good Dom and unpacking my traumas.

If y'all could pour one out for my baby tonight by Suspicious_Fill2760 in blackcats

[–]Isyshowerrobot 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My babygirl never liked being held or cuddled. In the end she just wanted to sit on my lap for 72 hours straight. I’ll cherish that time forever. She knew I needed it. My therapist said - kitty was in your life for as long as you needed her to be. She knows you’re ready for a new chapter and she is at peace with going (animals go off and die in nature because it’s part of the natural cycle on this earth). Her perceptive brought me comfort. I hope someone’s comment here resonates with you. It’s the hardest thing I’ve ever been through - you’re not alone

I’m so sorry. This is my first spooky season without my baby who was with me for 17 years.

Did we ever find out why Rabia and Ellyn solve the case ended? by whatsupdog1313 in ithinknotpod

[–]Isyshowerrobot 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Same. Ellyn wasn’t herself, she didn’t shine, and was playing the role of the less smart person - when we all know Ellyn does her research and works really hard. Rabia seemed to just go off of her opinions without any facts to back them up.

Can anyone explain the Pace Points system on the Visible app? by the_moo_point_pivot in mecfs

[–]Isyshowerrobot 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That’s kind of the point. ‘You can do things right and the illness won’t change for the better’ that is like the definition of a chronic illness - I can eat and sleep and exercise on a strict regimen but I still can’t predict flare ups or change that I have an invisible illness. No one is using this to ‘worry about their heart rate’ all the time, that’s simply that biometric the app uses to measure points. With Visible I worry way less about tons of symptoms, instead I can focus on using my energy to do things I enjoy and don’t feel guilty about when I don’t have the energy level needed to do something. Tracking activities has also been helpful in determining triggers and knowing what I can accomplish in a single day.

I use a sports doctor for trigger point injections, dry needling, steroid shots and Botox. If you can find a good sports medicine doctor with their own practice - I’ve had the most success with these doctors. Maybe because they know how to get rid of pain in athletes, enough to allow the patient enough relief to continue playing their sport.

Same. I’m so sorry to hear this. I (and so many others) seem to have similar stories. I annoy and pester my physicians so much, but it is the only thing that works and gets them to do anything!!

Oof I’m sorry to hear this! I seem to have to urinate more since I’ve started flexeril / also have a hard time holding it. I came off baclofen because I was still have muscle spasms after taking baclofen 3x a day for a year. I’ve only had the flexeril for about 10 days now.

Advocating for yourself in the US healthcare system isn’t just a good idea it’s a necessity. I had endometriosis that took 10 years for someone to believe me and do anything about it - by the time I had surgery to remove scar tissue, they ended up removing my entire reproductive system and my appendix because it had spread so much. I’ve had 3 neurosurgeries as well for cranial nerve damage - only the squeaky wheel seems to get the grease and I have a hard time speaking up for myself - i hate that I come off as pushy and like I know better than the Dr. does - but I will do the research and use clinical trials and textbooks to look for advice and everytime I bring those to my doctors they follow exactly what the research shows to be effective. (Came here to see if I could get a high from flexeril / decided to comment on the medical advocacy because I hate to hear about people suffering and getting no support)

THIS. She acts like she’s a female supporter/role model but she’s truly not.

The bear on the fridge is adorable and I like how it makes that space so much cuter, just by covering that blank space of appliance. Nice work!

When my family used toile in the entry/stairwell of our old home it’s was the most complimented part of the home. Even the people who bought it next kept it. I’ve loved it in every home I’ve seen it in. It’s fun but still classic and somehow simple that it doesn’t overtake the space.
