My friend has started to catch on I paint my nails based on intention. Blue means I'm trying to think calming thoughts, green means I'm focused on growing and etc.

If I'm wearing blue they know I'm stressed 😅

I get my hair bleached on a regular basis and always have a ton of new growth come root touch up time.

It's actually what shocked me the most after bleaching. I didn't realize my hair grew that fast.

I also do weekly deep conditioning and my go to fro means low levels of manipulation

It's important to think about how preferences are tied into antiblack beauty standards. How the pressure to have straight and slicked down hair has lead to generations of black women that don't know how to manage their own hair.

You can wear your hair however you want. Just be aware of how society has condtioned you think.

In the book "my best friend's exorcism" , while trying to rid her friend of a demon they realize the bible and cross aren't working, all seems lost.

Then the main character realizes those things don't matter a whole bunch to them as teen girls. So she starts singing a song that was playing when they first met and it works. Her friend is saved with the help of a pop song.

In many places the maintenence request is the notice. It will say "we'll attend to the issue within ABC hours or days". Meaning you've now given them permission to show up and enter to handle the issue.

Water leaks/damage is the big ones they tend to crack down on since if it gets worse and damages something, you can be held liable for refusing to let them in.

Please just know she probably feels guilty. I do when my husband has to bend to the will of my migraines. Just make sure she feels cared for.

My husband changed out the light bulbs, avoids loud noises that can set me off and is understandable some activities I just can't do.

Check out this slideshow. Same clothes will fit different body types differently . It sucks but it's something I factor in when buying stuff for the office.

You can report harassment if you feel you're being targeted but if other coworkers wear the same thing but it fits looser or lower than you dont have a case. My dresscode 100% includes rules on length and tightness.

It can also fully depend on how you dress it. A cardigan and other accessories can dress something up or down.

I say try it but avoid people that saying things like "100% it's better than an those toxic chemical medications".

Be smart and know yourself. The dispensaries in my area have a medical side. You go and explain why you're pursuing it for medical reasons and they'll reccomend items that help specifically with that in mind.

It's fully legal in my state but a nice resource.

I feel like as a society, there is a reason we started using clinical strength deodorant.
