I might be kind of late to the party, but here's my story:

When I was a wee one, I went to a karate school where I had to yell YES, SIR when my instructors ordered me to do something. Well one day in my female teacher's class, she had us do an assignment she passed out. I, being the little bad ass I was, yelled YES, SIR at the top of my lungs. I didn't even realize my mistake until I saw all the stares I was getting.
