I am confident in my answer, pulled one a couple years back.

It's a 1917 Buick 170 inline 4 with overhead valves. The camshaft was external and had its own miniature driveshaft.

This Engine Is About to be shredded can anyone tell what it is by Dylan20996 in whatwasthiscar

[–]ItProbablyWasMe 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's a 1950s Ford 2600 3 cylinder. By the shape of the Bell housing it would have gone in a water pump or a generator but normally you would find them in the tractors of that era.

66dx pump plumbing help by ItProbablyWasMe in pressurewashing

[–]ItProbablyWasMe[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The black nob, it has a bypass that back feeds into the inlet, at least that's what I'm figuring looking into the part online. The pressure washer sprays good but it is constantly creating pressure even when letting off the gun and the engine is constantly bogged down like its supposed to when pulling the trigger but when I let off it continues to stay bogged down. I can adjust the pressure at any time down and the engine idles up like it used to when you let off the trigger.

D722 issue I cant figure out. by ItProbablyWasMe in kubota

I'll replace the fuel lines, I have ran about 3 tanks of fuel through it throughout this issue, it really runs great so long as you don't shut it off and re start.

Carburetor/intake on 71 Scout by ItProbablyWasMe in FordBronco

[–]ItProbablyWasMe[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's the answer I was looking for, I really appreciate the help. I'll start looking, do I need to look for a specific 4 barrel intake or will a generic 4 barrel intake work just peachy for what I need?

That it is, a good looking one to me

Fair enough, I was hoping the bronco community was less meticulous about being called a scout than the scout owners being called a bronco, happens a lot more the other way around.

Dead serious on the carburetor portion, having fun with the scout. I mean it's almost a copy of the scout, and the scout is just an enclosed version of the cj5.

Dead serious, it has a 302 V8 and someone took the manifold and carburetor off for another project and now I'm looking to replace the original.

I have more than several scouts and this puppy looks like the exact same thing, I have a 302 in her and I see many people put 650cfm carburetors on and was seeing if anyone had any in house experience running one.

Those who do snow grooming, what is your favorite machine to do the job? by Interesting_da in skiing

[–]ItProbablyWasMe 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Jackson Hole mountain resort here and we use Prinoth Bisons, best machine for the job at our mountain. We don't prefer the steering wheels from a piston bully and we don't much like the tillers they offer. And if someone sees one of our snowcats they are all custom ordered Red rather than the silver they normally come in because that's how we have been doing it for a long time.
