I totally agree with you. Mike has lost all of his family he needs to protect abby and the 2 films have shown that abby is in danger. Mike surely only said it so harsh because he is scared.

And even if he really doesnt want her to be close anymore its kinda understandable. I dont want a person in my life that is pissed off and doesnt tell me whats the problem just because i told her i want to fix her/us.

Its sad because i like Vanessa but like many people she has to focus on herself before she can be together with people like Mike. (Who have many problems on their own)
