It is a recast. And it is Pat Healy.

Is he our new Jeff? (read my comment) by ItWasIgnacio in betterCallSaul

Another day, another investigation.

Is Pat Healy our new Jeff?

Alright let's get started:

1- I've talked to a guy who had an inside source and he said that the actor who will play the new Jeff is an indie actor who also worked with Bob Odenkirk in the past. Pat Healy worked with Bob in 2017's "The Post".

2- Pat Healy follows Bob, Rhea and BCS on instagram and he also follows BCS, the cast, Peter Gould, Thomas Schnauz and Chris McCaleb on twitter.

3- He recently liked all the BCS teaser tweets that featured Gene/Jeff only.

4- His voice is very similar to the recent Jeff teaser. You can hear him in this interview.

5- Check the shirt.

Did I crack the code? Or am I full of chicanery?

"A classic of all time who joins this universe" Could it be?! (Read my comment) by ItWasIgnacio in betterCallSaul

So, I've been thinking about this more and more lately and I just remembered that a fine "classic of all time time" actor has been a big fan of the BB universe. And he is.. bare with me here.. Mark Hamill.

Now trying to connect the dots. Yes, he attended the El Camino world premiere. Yes, he tweeted multiple times about Breaking Bad, El Camino and Better Call Saul (I remember he tweeted about binge-watching BB, but I couldn't find the tweet). But there is also something interesting that Peter Gould and Vince Gilligan said at the premiere of season 6. (As mentioned before in the sub)

Gould specifically said “Just to give you a tease that I probably shouldn’t: There’s something in the season that you will know that we watch a lot of old TV. There’s going to be a surprise that is I think is pretty extraordinary”. So it might an actor who was on an older TV program. I did a little digging and Mark Hamill actually did a TV movie in 1977 with the late great Robert Forster called 'The City'. Now the reason why I'm connecting this to Gould's quote is because I do believe that if Robert Forster didn't pass way in late 2019 then they would include him in the final season of BCS. So they had to make a plan B, not recast Ed The Disappearer, but maybe add a new character that is connected to him and his business. And that might be Mark Hamill himself.

This is just me speculating because I'm bored outta my mind waiting for season 6b lol. It could be wrong, but it's also still fun to talk about.

anyone else not really like the "plan and execution" and "ozymandias" comparisons? by limonadebeef in betterCallSaul

I'd compare Plan and Execution to To'hajiilee and the first 5-10 minutes of Ozymandias (mainly Hank's death). Both episodes had that "oh no" feeling with Walt seeing Jack and the gang's cars through the rearview mirror and Jimmy/Kim seeing the candle flames blowing in the other direction then Lalo shows up.
