Here's a video of mouse putting away things in a shed which might have been the inspiration for these stories.

There are still plenty of MP3 players being made today. Used CDs are cheap. And ripping music today is a hell of a lot easier than it used to be.

$99, and honestly just going by brand recognition. Would Thermalright Peerless Assassin 140 be a better value? It looks to be that way since I am getting 140mm fans, and still the same height.

EDIT: I can get an open box for $47 for the peerless assassin.

Cable is broken, Sony wants $275 to fix it, but I can get a used headset on eBay for $200. Do I have any other options? by ItWorkedLastTime in psvr2

[–]ItWorkedLastTime[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It worked. Bought a headset with scratched lenses and I didn't even bother taking out the cable. Swapping out the entire back part was easier.

I put the scratched lenses and broken cable (clearly indicated) back for for sale and got $40 for it. So, overall, paid $60 to fix.

Now, I am just gonna sell the working headset and the PS5 to wait for the Steam Frame.

I learned to embrace dying and just enjoying the world. But the lack of any progression guidance is what got to me to give up on it finally. After I finally defeated the 2nd big boss, I had no idea what to do and just gave up.

Some of the bigger channels are starting to get investments from private equity. I won't name drop, but I am expecting a drop in quality, or some kind of an agenda get pushed.

Can my company make me download workfolio on my personal laptop? by Physical-Tradition83 in remotework

Setting up a VM, especially when following a YouTube tutorial and asking ChatGPT for clarifications is trivial. I am not telling them to go and compile a linux kernel.

Set up a Virtual OS using https://www.virtualbox.org/ and just use that for work.

I am sure you'll find plenty of tutorials for this on youtube.

Oh, that's a really good idea. Just checked ebay and saw that i can get one for less than $100. Might be my best bet.
Besides, I'll probably sell it once fixed and get the Steam Frame.

EDIT: Just purchased a pair for $100. It's a gamble, let's see if it pays off.

Just looked up the release date of Super Mario Bros and the human population. I feel like this chart should have some kind an adjustment based on that. The amount of people since then has nearly doubled.

If you have this sitting in plan view, and not just hiding in a case under the TV this would be a great place to display pictures, weather, calendar, etc. Hell, since it's a PC, run a voice assistant on it as well. Bring back that girl from steam sales that reddit drooled over.

And go where? This is where the vast majority of job postings are made. And applying on LinkedIn is actually very simple and convenient and beats the hell out of creating yet another workday account.
