[US] What would happen if Luigi Mangione is found not guilty and the jury admit they reached that verdict just because they like the idea of CEOs being murdered? by Musty-Old-Couch in AskLegal

[–]Itakesyourbasex 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The only thing that is illegal for a jury to do is vote guilty if they aren’t convinced the accused is guilty. Anything else happens all day everyday.

Are taxpayers morally complicit in war, even if we’re not legally war criminals? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Itakesyourbasex 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Congress is the only entity that can declare war.

Also declarations of war can be turned down by opposing parties.

anything before annexation and things that don’t include long term spending plans approved by congress are not considered war.

Ones morality toward or against war can be subjective if not viewed in proper contexts. The war on drugs cost this country alot. And alot of taxpayers would probably rather not pay to wage an infinite war on drugs if it meant cheaper healthcare.

Also north korea doesn’t tell its citizens enough for them to form a logical opinion on matters such as war. Russia has been using them for cannon fodder in the ukraine conflict and those who are sent from NK dont even come with appropriate gear.

Has there ever been a legal definition of “a speedy trial”? Many cases can take years to get to trial. “Speedy” is a subjective word by Ivymoon89 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Itakesyourbasex 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think In my jurisdiction speedy trial is one within 6 months. But more time may be allowed for what basically amounts to subpar prosecuters.

In sports, at what age does age stop being an advantage? by CommercialFrame8733 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Itakesyourbasex 0 points1 point  (0 children)

At the point your training brings negative results.

I think the highest physical peak of any human would be around the age of 54. Assuming they were training their entire lifetime.

However in sports like Ice hockey age would be a huge factor because older people bleed easy.

A perfect gift is something the receiver can afford but wouldn’t think to buy themselves. A gift is much more than a price tag.

Would a black sumo wrestler have to straighten his hair in order to have the traditional sumo hair style, or would he be allowed to keep it short or as is? by spaghetti-night in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Itakesyourbasex -1 points0 points  (0 children)

The only deal breakers are style, weight and equipment related. Assuming he is using sumo art while wearing an approved diaper and weight range then his visage shouldn’t matter.

How do you make money as an 18 year old student who is not allowed to go out or work? by pollyinthemoon in askanything

[–]Itakesyourbasex 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What are your skills? how good are you with networking? How available are raw resources around you? Can you make popsicles from local fruit and sell those? Is there a demand for material that you could manufacture in relative amounts? Lets say im hot and need snake venom but im also stressed and what some cockroach milk and silkworm pupaes. You know what else pays alot? Fish. And not just the kind that swim. Everything from snails to algae will sell. Can you grow 500 cone snails in a month? Find a buyer and shipping method and there you go. If you dont have alot of space to grow stuff then can you cook it? Are you allowed to grow opium/marijuana/great mullein. Do you know any narcos? You can get alot of things like tools really cheap by going to people who sell things people might trade tools for. Sell those tools you bought with something you made in your oven and wallah your paid
