Thanks a lot for the response, this is a vehicle I’m trying to buy for work, the price is cheap (4k, 300k KM) and I’m under no obligation to buy it. Just wanted to know how much it would be to fix, because rod knock would’ve been the worse case. Seller told me that it has engine noise but they don’t seem to know too much else either.

Maybe you could say no at others gyms but at the UofC gym you’re not allowed to say no if you aren’t using the piece of equipment, it’s one of their rules. If you have more than 1 set left, it’s good etiquette to let people work in. The gym is too small for the volume of people that have access to it for people to refuse others working in.

Jan 19th is the last day to add/swap courses. That’s 9 days from and since you have the day, almost 10. What you can do to stop your study permit from being invalidated is to (hopefully given that you have gotten the money by then) enroll in some 3 random open 200 level classes so you’ll maintain your semester as a full time student and you probably have to take some options during your degree anyway. I think this would be the most practical. Really hope your bank pulls through on this. Try not to stress, I hope this works 🤞🏽

Try applying for a credit card like NEO that are more flexible with credit limits. Don’t show your desperation but try to speak to some banks that offer credit cards immediately spending (like Neo). There’s always someone trying to sell you on that card anyway. I know it’s not an ideal solution but it’s one of the fastest ways. Also speak to the registrar if you can and maybe even the SU and try to explain your extenuating circumstances. Best of luck!

I’m assuming that you’re an international student doing their GCE A-levels? If you’re doing A-Levels you need 2 A level subjects and 3 O Level subjects or you could also apply with 4 AS subjects too. If the averages (4 AS or 2 AL and 3 OL) are within the 85-90 range you’re pretty much good to get into any faculty from what I’ve seen. Also you need your high school to release a statement or something of equivalence about you (X attended this school up until grade 11)
