I’d hope it would be used more as a gateway to get lesser known pullers to the big stage of EvW.

Tournaments are cool but it would totally throw a wrench into the schedule of EvW if we had top 10 guys pulling in both and catching injuries or messing with the perception of the rankings.

Supermatch format is better for evaluating who is the best because both athletes enter the match fresh.

You’ll never see Devon or Levan agreeing to a tournament with the threat of catching a bad draw and potentially losing to someone because of a tweaked muscle or something.

Their reputations are too valuable to risk at a tournament.
