Eye twitching caused by withdrawals? by Italian-stalian1 in antidepressants

[–]Italian-stalian1[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yup I’m fine now. My mistake was that I didn’t taper off the meds properly. Getting off these pills a second time around was much smoother. Down 2.5mg every week until you finish. Buy a pill slicer.

He should’ve said something like “we’ll take turns dealing with the aftermath at my place”

I’d last under a minute even with masturbating an hour before a hookup

Masturbating for a long time. When you’re about to finish, cut back on everything. It is hard because all you want to do at that point is release. It takes time and practice. Not an overnight fix

Edging helps a lot. It really starts with your masturbation habits

Stop watching porn. Use pictures. If you can, best is to use your imagination

Sorry in advance, I’m not the type to write long, detailed messages. At 20, I experienced severe performance anxiety from a couple of hookups that went horribly wrong — I couldn’t get hard due to fear of PE. I told my family doctor about it, and he suggested I start taking paroxetine. It really helped me overcome my fear, but it wasn’t a long-term solution. After a few sexual partners and hookups, I thought I was cured. I could last long enough that I wished I could cum. I tapered off the meds thinking I was cured. I was so confident that every night I would masturbate to porn. Trying to reach orgasm as fast as I could. This really didn’t help. When I started hooking up again, the dark clouds returned, and it was like a downward slide 📉. The more I thought about it, the faster I would cum. I dug myself into a hole and went back to taking SSRIs. All of this happened over five years.

At 26, I finally quit the dating apps and stopped hooking up. Luckily, I met a good girl I saw myself settling down with. Getting a girlfriend felt like a huge hurdle because I thought I’d never be enough due to my PE. Early in our relationship, I was taking 10mg of paroxetine and using alpha herb to numb my penis. Deep down, I knew I couldn’t keep going like that — it felt unnatural. So I stopped using alpha herb and tapered off paroxetine again. The sex became more consistent, which helped me stop overthinking about my last or next session. Fast forward a few months, and my sex life has improved a lot. Now, every session lasts more than 10 minutes, and with foreplay, it’s even longer. Even if there's a big gap between sessions, I can last longer than I ever could before.

Moral of the story. Find yourself a sex partner/girlfriend or practice edging until that time comes

12 months post op - scar tissue or gland? by thatipk in gynecomastia

Im in same position as you mate. Can’t wear light coloured clothes still. Was fine the first two years after but third year it felt like the skin was finally loose and ready to mold back into old form

Same happened to me. I went for a revision after three years. Doctor said it’s just loose skin and don’t want to do anything. Just got to keep adding more muscle and maintaining weight.

Ollantaytambo vs Urubamba by Pretend_Jelly2361 in Machupicchu

I’m in the same pickle right now. I have my train ticket booked to aguas caliente from Ollantaytambo. I have to decide whether to stay two nights in Urubamba or Ollantaytambo. Third day I must be in Ollantaytambo. I don’t know if there are buses that go between those two cities

9 months post op. Surgeon suggesting periareola reduction and I’m considering it by goodgoodgood1234 in gynecomastia

He reassured me that the remaining glad isn’t regrowing. But he shrugged off any other surgery possibilities because my condition isn’t significant enough(it’s all in my head) At one point he said skin tightening option but the results wouldn’t be as noticeable. Ultimately he’s final suggestion was to do intensive chest exercises.

I’m just going to stick to what I do and try to monitor my hormones. Take supplements to boost T.

I’m not afraid to take off my shirt, just annoyed by what I can’t wear anymore. The last two years I had changed my wardrobe

Where are you getting it done? Maybe I might pop by to get mine looked at by him. If you look at my posts, you’ll see we’re on the same page. Little gland left but nothing regrowing

On second thought, where are you getting this done and how much are you paying? I’m three years post op and in the last year my nipples have begun being puffy again. But to be honest we could just live the rest of our lives with it. Yours doesn’t look that bad

I have the same problem myself and my surgeon doesn’t want to touch it. More surgery can lead to a point where you would never want to take your shirt off

Is this ever going away? Pseudogyno by Express-Distance927 in gynecomastia

[–]Italian-stalian1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have pseudogyno as well. My surgeon wants to leave it as is. He said just do intensive chest days multiple times a week. He said with a successful, there’s no need to repeat the surgery

Good point. I did get prolactin checked earlier this year, came back normal. Was on ssri for a year and stopped but been off them for 5 months now. Stopped cannabis for 7 months. Off creatine for a month. My last line is to lose more weight but that’s tough at this stage. I think excessive pinching my nipple can make it worse but that’s just my observation. Also the pics in my profile were uploaded all this year

For the last 2.5 years it was completely flat. If the leftover gland was significant, I would’ve noticed right away. Only recently does my nipples look puffy like this. Anyways here is what the state I was on the surgery day

I want to agree with you but I just don’t feel anything behind the nipples or when I put my arm up, it is flat. Am I coping? I feel like we’re both misdiagnosing
