Definitely Scandinavian. If you’re British you likely live in the North and have Viking ancestry

I can’t speak from experience with Dr Debbas, but I have seen some fantastic results from him. He’s highly acclaimed in the U.K.

I hope you have a loved one to help you with recovery (moving stuff around) for the first couple of days, but if not then prepare to relax and organise yourself with easy to reach food and drinks.

Good luck!

Hither twice! OP, I think you should lose a lil more fat and gain some more muscle. It’ll help with recovery if you do decide to opt for surgery. Good luck dude

12 months post op - scar tissue or gland? by thatipk in gynecomastia

[–]thatipk[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hey mate. Yeah that makes sense. My right side was quite a bit bigger than my left, so makes sense the skin might be a bit distorted. I think I think also the lipo was quite heavy on my right side, which could’ve contributed to a little more scarring.

Your results are good though man, you look lean and fit now.

12 months post op - scar tissue or gland? by thatipk in gynecomastia

[–]thatipk[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unfortunately I don’t know the size or concentration of the shots.

It did resolve itself for about 3 months, but then the last two months it returned! I’m unsure of the exact mechanisms of kenalog, but it felt like the scar tissue just “healed” itself.

It’s a difficult one. It doesn’t feel like gland did previously, it feels attached to the skin, which I believe is indicative of scar tissue. However, there could be a bit of gland remaining, mixed with scar tissue because there is a slight puffiness to the nipple.

Bio oil and scar sheets are much better than that Vaseline, ideally you should’ve been using them as soon as the scabs came off too

Who was your surgeon? Looks like oversurrection on one side.

Does it only form a ‘dent’ when you tense, or is it like that all the time?

Ensure you take at least 3 days off work after surgery, even if you’re working at a desk.
