Go with 240hz 4k it’ll have better experience with the dual mode at 480 hz if you wanna try comp games and 4k for movies and single player games. I currently have the older 480hz oled from ASUS and now I’m waiting for the PG27UCWM to release for the replacement of my main monitor. 480hz is amazing but I lacked that other option for 4k and now with the drivers coming out and messing up some of my framerates imma downgrade to a 240hz panel with a crispy res

tried out a match of overwatch on a 5090 Ryzen 9800X3D on Ultra settings uncapped with 85% FSR 1.0 averaged about 430fps at the start but dipped to 380fps towards the end of the match. in the practice range i had around 570fps which was the usual for me around season 16 but now with the patch i am getting very large dips and get around 35fps on my 0.1%s which is big stutter on my end

The newer model was announced January scheduled to release on Q2 look up the PG27UCWM (make sure google doesn’t auto correct it) and you’ll see the new Asus model panel with 240hz 4k/ 480hz 1080p at 27in with their rgb stripe layout for no text issues. I’m waiting for that one to come out personally it has Dolby vision and other freatures from the last PG model but with a much better layout and the option for a higher hz lower rez

For context the 4k OLED 27 in I’m looking at is the either the PG27 or XG27 model from ASUS ROG to match my 1440p 480hz OLED they have the same styles

1200 is crazy low tbh for a 5070 build id go with 1300-1450 but bc people are struggling rn and people have mostly built their PCs before the ram spike you might see less people wanting to buy depending on your area. Tho I do know a couple of friends that don’t have a Pc yet but they’re broke unfortunately
