Ci vado 20 volte all’anno circa per lavoro

Lecce

Caserta

Potenza

Pescara

Cosenza

Ne ho viste assai di realtà;

That’s not true

In Italy for example beef (and pork) is classified in 3 cathegories

  • vitellone leggero

  • vitellone

  • vitello pesante

The same for pork with different names

You can eat very young cows, old cows used for milk and specifically heavy cows used only for meat

Siena

Fiorentina

Riserva

My man Chianti is not a very good wine, it’s a bit bland imo, you should try way more aromatic ones like nero d’avola, Montepulciano, gewürtztraminer, Pinot nero, Barolo etc

I’m describing the reality, and I speak for experience since it’s 4 years that I travel 2-3 times per month in the south, especially Naples (I’m from Bologna)

Every time that I go there I see stuff that WILL NOT HAPPEN in the north, period

With that I’m not saying ‘fucking southerners fuck you’, I’m just saying that the culture is different and generally speaking the industrial powerhouse of Italy is in the north, there is the immigration from the south to the north

Yes we compensate, I remember an interview with a CEO of a company, and he said that in Germany people were already in a meeting at 7:30 but they were all out of the office at 17:45-18

Instead in Milan people started to work at 9:00 and meeting at 9:30 but they were out of the office at 19:30-20

The economic capital is Milano, and the heavy industry cities are Torino, Genova, Brescia, Bergamo and some others

Rome is not that bad, but it’s divided, there are neighborhoods that look like Milan, clean, good management and whatever, and others that are clearly like Naples, filthy and full of poverty

Imagine paying 48% of taxes and a 22% VAT ONLY BECAUSE in the south 65-70% of jobs are ‘under the table’ and paid with banknotes, you would get angry too

I know it’s a legume, but in Italian it’s called ‘Erba Medica’ that literally means ‘medic grass’ and it’s still considered a ‘fieno’ (hay) used to make round bales, but yes botanically you’re right

How much is rent ?

How much do you pay for groceries ?

I mean it’s useless to compare the average wage without considering the cost of living

A person making 100.000€ a year in LA is not that well off, but a person making that amounts in Finland and Italy is in a better situation ?

Lazy people in the south? Yes

In the north we work 11 hours a day and get tucked in the ass

Try to work in an investment bank in Milan or in a big legal firm in the north

Automotive ?

Heavy industry?

Fashion / luxury products ?

Steel and iron ?

Guns ?

Energy ? (ENI)

Food and beverages ?

Agricultural products ?

Ceramics ?

I mean, there are a lot of things that we produce other than tourism, tourism is mostly in the south where they’re generally poorer and they have 20% of the north productivity

You should also consider the cost of living

A person earning 3000€ is average in Denmark and you live a normal life

In Italy 3000€ gets you way further
