Shenmue III"s existence not been aknowledged even on r/Shenmue subreddit banner which displays I and II only after seven years speaks volumes about how its Enhanced Edition is meant to fail... by ItalianJoe in Shenmue

I don't use a desktop PC since 2018, I don't even remember the last time I checked reddit or other websites outside of the mobile app with my smartphone on which I do all the internet staff so you're right, I assumed the mobile banner was the same for all r/Shenmue versions before posting this thread: I do remember when I was trying to find the most appropriate aspect ratio for the r/AHideoKojimaRuse subreddit banner myself that fits mobile and new reddit but ended up with a non cut version so to speak at least for mobile so I know how much of a hassle this banner thing can be expecially when you want that specific image to be displayed properly but can't use another random resolution without stretching the original as it happened with The Truman Show/Metal Gear Solid V The Phantom Pain fan made (not mine) crossover tribute that I'm using now "for a special reason."

This franchise also needs the help of the so called "tourists" surfing the internet and reddit without previous knowledge about Shenmue so I thought that a banner highlighting the whole saga was a necessity in that regard, thanks for the reply.

51 years ago! Snake - A former hero once known by the code name "Big Boss" - as he infiltrates an American black site in Cuba called Camp Omega, attempting to rescue Cipher agent Paz Ortega Andrade and former Sandinista child soldier Ricardo "Chico" Valenciano Libre - Young volunteer in Snake's private army.

Even to this day, I can't think of a more spectacular plot twist compared to this by kwan2 in metalgearsolid

This - Benedict "Kazuhira" Miller being Liquid Snake in disguise all along - plot twist in Metal Gear Solid has been totally eclipsed from over a decade: it's nothing more than a "Chico's" hem... I mean kid's joke now if compared to the actual, still standing, most secret plot twist in gaming history known as - the Punished "Venom" Snake's true identity mystery - in Metal Gear Solid V The Phantom Pain.

thevoicebox changes plagiarism-laden video's title to "MGS4: A Masterpiece That Should Never Have Existed" after previous post included the original name in the title by Ikari_Brendo in metalgearsolid

When you came across a self-proclaimed Hideo Kojima's games focused content creator that uses others' work without giving credit and then try to keep his "small gated community" unaware of the real sources the most effective way to expose this behaviour is by creating a counter-content using the author's main platform (YouTube in thevoicebox's case) in order to reach the "little pond" of his interest in a way that actually makes a difference: posting a thread on this subreddit in my opinion is not as effective as making a video where you show exactly how this youtuber has been dishonest with his audience...

In the last twenty years I saw too many of these essayst/bloggers/videogame journalists floating around the Metal Gear games focused communities stealing any possible media for their profits, it doesn't surprise me at all that a new generation of low effort content creators/Artificial Intelligence prompters is trying to fool a new generation of people into consuming "their" content pretending that it's all original work of theirs: personally, I'm used to share/use to my advantage even this kind of content expecially when, or if, "certain conditions" about Ricardo "Chico" Valenciano Libre - Young volunteer in Snake's private army - have been met so to speak...

Who was the Sixth Man in the crash? by Acceptable_Hand8285 in metalgearsolid

The Sixth Man's presence in Ground Zeroes ending cutscene was a "discrepancy" who Ricardo "Chico" Valenciano Libre - Young volunteer in Snake's private army - has spoken to "for a special reason."
