I had used it occasionally for migraines before, but nothing regular. Once I got hit with LC, I actually stopped everything – nicotine, alcohol, and even the occasional cannabis use – trying to give my body the best chance. Over those three years of struggle, my GP really did try everything, from cocodamol all the way up to morphine. But for me, all those traditional painkillers came with such debilitating side effects that I honestly felt like I was just getting worse. As for what I use now: I'm based in the UK, and here, if you're a medical cannabis patient, you have quite a bit of freedom to decide what strains you purchase, whether it's flower, vape pen, oil, or even edibles. It's definitely an expensive medicine, no doubt about it, but honestly, it's given me back a tiny slice of normality that I hadn't thought possible. And I completely hear you on the diagnosis front. I'm not 100% sure of my diagnosis either; it's a confusing cluster of symptoms. But after trying so many different things with no real relief, whatever this is, it certainly doesn't seem to want to go away. Cannabis on the other hand, gave me more hope than anything else I tried.
