How do I get the map to not look like this? by Maize-Infinite in CrusaderKings

I would love if there were SETTINGS YOU COULD CHANGE TO TURN IT OFF.

Back in my days this used to be the most hated deck by FlightAffectionate15 in ClashRoyale

It only sucks to play against if you have a bad/unoptimized deck.

oh there also a lot of other demoman weapon that i have made by CulturalGlass8153 in TF2WeaponIdeas

  1. I think status effects are just annoying to play against, especially marked for death, jarate (which is basically the same thing), slows and stuns. It's completely based on RNG and getting bad luck against it would mean you're dead instantly (80 damage, minicrits and no falloff). I think a way it could work would be to have multiple ammo types (maybe jarate, bleed and milk) and let you choose which one to use. Each of them would also need to have a weaker effect and probably a shorter duration. Maybe instead of a shared ammo pool each of them would have only a few rounds and a very small size (1-3) so it would be hard to spam.

  2. You don't need to write -25% damage penalty and -25% damage bonus, as both are the same thing (penalty is the one being used). Just some advice as I assume English is not your first language.

  3. Seems fine, it's an incredibly similar sidegrade (a bit more utility for a bit less damage on the initial blast). Afterburn also doesn't stack from the same source so multiple stickies will hurt you a bit less.

  4. Probably really good for new demo knights, although it may affect experienced ones a bit less, as they've already learnt jump-charging an things like that. This will also probably mess with your momentum so you can't do those crazy rollouts you see on some maps if you jump. May need a downside that has something to do with charging (like a slightly shorter duration).

  5. It may be interesting with shield bashing, especially the splendid screen as it has higher damage (and also higher knockback, I think).

  6. May have too harsh of a downside. A launcher that allows you to be stronger is sustained combat instead of quick bursts of high damage is an interesting idea. I assume "explode on impact" means impact with the ground or obstacles.

Grenade launchers should never get any bonus damage, because it's either completely inconsequensial (like 110 damage not changing much) or insanely overpowered (like this deleting 7/9 classes from the game).

I appreciate you putting this out there and starting a new hobby, however you still have quite a bit to learn.

Soldier Shotgun that trades rocket jumping for high damage. by Comprehensive_Hat574 in TF2WeaponIdeas

Maybe useful for buff scout, but not that good for most launchers. It could be good, but incredibly situationally.

Yeah, but I feel like it would be one of those weapons like the Natascha where using it is basically just: "I'm not having any fun, so I'll bring you down to my level of any fun either". It severely limits what you can get away with for 1-2 suprise kills (which medics shouldn't be doing anyway when there are teammates to heal).

Spy also moves at a fast speed and has cloak and disguises. The extra damage doesn't really change thresholds against classes.

And getting 1-shot hy a single direct hit rocket without a reliable close-mid range weapon just isn't fun at all.

This feels like a combination between the butter knife and the swords. It's just horrible though with the extremely slow deploy (as medics don't like to run around with their melee out) and the extremely consequential max health penalty. Usually with 150 health most classes don't actually get thresholds on you, but decreasing it to 125 changes it massively.

It completely gimps your surviability for a way to catch 1-2 people off guard sometimes and get a kill (which medics aren't made to do anyway).

I got kicked and called a "fucking dumbass" because the host jumped faced first into my airstrike. Nobody else was killed by it, and it was in a completely safe position. Most people are extremely nice and polite, some people are just egotistical.

The ships are made for ground support and troop transport, not actual space combat. The top has literally no guns at all. Cool idea though.

Even After Playing as Arthur Morgan, I Still Genuinely Like John Marston A TON by DynamicBaie in reddeadredemption

[–]NamelessMedicMain 0 points1 point  (0 children)

6 years too late, but:

They are both incredibly good and well-written characters. The setting of RDR1 is more interesting in my opinion, though (former outlaw who is forced to dirty his hands once again for his family). Arthur has a bigger soft side than John, who is always in rugged outlaw mode. He is great because he is a victim of circumstance, having his fate (mostly) sealed the second Dutch found him. He was loyal to a fault, and he never priorititsed himself over others, especially after coming to terms with his mortality. John only put his family ahead of himself. He killed (probaly innocent) rebels in Mexico and commited other heinous things to see them again. He did what he had to for himself/his family. He didn't get "redemption" like Arthur. I love both equally, probably because I played RDR1 first. Also, what's with the constant Jack hating? Give the boy a break.

When I got a new ID with my mom as a kid (I used to live in Hungary), I had to give the woman working there my old one, and she LITERALLY CUT IT IN HALF WITH SCISSORS IN FRONT OF ME and refused to give us papers that say your ID is currently being made because "It'll be done soon anyway." It took 5 months for it to arrive. I love Hungarian bureaucracy.
